From: dicksilk@gmail.com              *Kinda* like "The Time Tunnel" but not exactly....              So here's something I've been meaning to post but ignoring until now. A few       days ago I was reaching the point of publishing my first book. It was       actually the night before, I believe, either sometime Thursday or Friday, and       I can't exactly recall the        time this occurred, but it wasn't a deep sleep type, REM type dream. It was       more like a half-sentient vision. I was aware of lying in bed under the       covers, certainly not "asleep" in the sense one is not aware of being in one's       own bed, but as I was        aware, this would qualify more as a vision. I saw something I'd never seen       (or remember having seen) before: a number of concentric circles, perfectly       consecutive (no gaps to speak of) having the kind of color one typically sees       when one's eyes are        shut and there's a light on. OK, it had a bit of salmon/flesh tone to it.        The circles were noticeable as being a center dot surrounded by another circle       (lighter or darker, didn't really matter) surrounded by another circle (again,       lighter or darker,        doesn't matter) surrounded by another circle (etc.) as there were easily a       dozen to perhaps 20 of these concentric rings, very much like looking at the       perfect cross section of the perfect tree, as tree rings, only they were       vibrant circles, not still /        static, practically pulsating. I had the sense that they were caused due to a       zero-stress environment of some kind, then the circles sorta "went away" /       dissolved / evaporated / were no longer seen, and I kinda felt sad that what       I'd been viewing was no        longer there, then I saw the circles again, as if someone had turned the       switch back on. They didn't last quite as long this time, then the vision       went away before I could really ascertain anything about it. Although I have       a few possible ideas as to        what they represent, I really can't say because I was puzzled by them rather       than informed.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
