From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/11/30 Saturday:              Dreams that've made it past breakfast:              Was in some kind of room that felt like a cross between a classroom and a high       school / college reunion gathering, with a cafeteria-like atmosphere but there       was no food to speak of, merely tables. There were a number of folk on my       left or across from        me, and possibly some on my right, who were being called and/or introduced by       name and their adult profession, and I was remembering all of them from my       youth, although exact names are not jumping out at me at this moment.              In another scene which also had something of an educational feel to it, there       was a computer screen with a program on it, however, the top right corner       (quite noticeable portion, actually) had a warning, that it was actually a       copy of the original work        of the female pictured below the warning, a goodly 3"x5" or so p       rtrait-oriented photo. I was going to simply submit the work when it dawned       on me that part of the warning also included the information that if the       warning and photo were deleted, all the        rest of the program beneath it would be deleted as well. I was in the process       of determining how best to simply copy the text of the program, delete       everything, then paste only the program's text, but was mentally caught up in       the ethics of doing so        when that dream ended. Sure, it seemed technologically possible, but— what       if the text copy itself were to self-delete? Wouldn't it be smarter to print       the program then write a new copy *based* on that work? Again, the moment I       got caught up in the        ethical / technical dilemma, that dream ended, however, it was followed almost       immediately (*almost*) by another scene involving a computer screen acting as       a remote camera's display, and I saw the same female walking towards the       camera's perspective,        finding the entire incident peculiar enough to cause me to turn around and       look over my shoulder, as if I could or would see the female walking towards       me. I got the impression at that time that she was actually elsewhere behind       me down a hallway or        such, possibly heading toward another female.              Now, although I didn't have any sugar in my breakfast (just sausage, egg and       cheese with some spicy mustard) I'm still getting a tad oofy from having       eaten, so I'm gonna head back and take a short nap. If any other dreams jump       back to mind (and there        were a number of them!) I'll do my best to post a follow-up (something about a       type of journey/pursuit of an objective, but no details.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
