|    2019/12/23 Monday: The Whirligig    |
|    23 Dec 19 10:47:09    |
From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/12/23 Monday: The Whirligig              I had a *few* dreams last night, but the one most notable involved a sequence       of starting out as if on a trip such as to a wedding but with no change of       clothes packed whatsoever, starting out in just plain, ordinary clothes.        There was a section        involved in getting *to* a means of transportation, and super-pestered with       the idea that I should turn back to pack, before it's too late, yet continuing       on the journey anyways. There is some section involving something akin to dry       dog food in a large        bowl, but even though it is visually in good condition, it's perceived more as       "spoils" or byproduct, even waste, of some other process.              There's a scene involving a nifty home with clean lines, bordering on cubicle       or box-like, earth tones (brown with light tan) which in some dream symbol       libraries represents a human, which would likely have been my teen-self, but       this part comes through        rather unclear, clarity 6 perhaps 7 at best, seeing as it's likely all       symbolism.              The fun part comes in at something like a big, open field, something like the       big, central tarmac at Smyrna Airbase, where there's a device that is       approximately the shape of a human in height / stature, except the top is       spinning like a multiple rotary        of a helicopter. Think not of just 2 blades but of perhaps 8 blades ✻ (OK,       that symbol is only a big 6 bladed asterisk *, but it's close enough) with       LIGHT colors all similar to various shades of purple, pink, and blue. If       there were any deeper        colors I wasn't able to pull them out. Anyways, this whirligig device was       making short hops and circles, such that there were no long distance trips       observed. I'm not sure if it could make any based on its fuel capacity (which       was unknown) but I recall        wondering how fun it would be if I could hitch a ride on it?              NOTE: in real life, my head is almost always swirling these days, as if       vertigo or a very light maelstrom of some sort were going on inside. Note       that this *started* in August of 2013 when a palette struck the back of my       head at work, causing either a        thrombosis or dissection (or possibly both) somewhere in the right vertebral       artery or nearby (the "PICA") which resulted in a "dead zone" or "stroke"       within a portion of my brain. It's said the brain cannot feel pain, but it       sure can detect a dead spot!        At any rate, starting last July 4th of this year, I've been noticing that       sugary foods cause increased-to-severe dizziness / vertigo and binocular       diplopia (double vision) so I've been having to go as sugar-free as possible       (a cookie CRUMB will cause        unpleasantness) that is *unrelated* to diabetes (I've been monitoring the       sugar level in my blood, and it's always fine.) If I have a cookie before       bedtime, it still causes unpleasantness in the morning. Going sugar free       (based on package labels) helps        considerably, but even a sauce with only a gram or two will last nearly all       day. It's reached a point where I'm rarely NOT feeling the vertigo, so I'm       wondering if that whirligig is supposed to represent *me*? Seems logical, at       any rate.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
