From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/12/25 Merry Christmas! —NCIS plot dream!              OK, so this *extended* dream ran like the plot of an NCIS plot (with Leroy       Jethro Gibbs.) And yes, this WAS a dream, NOT something I "just made up."        It's 4:32 AM and I'm writing it directly after dreaming so as to capture as       much of it as possible: (       NOTE: editing started at 11:11 AM)              This began as a remote disturbance going on "down the road a bit" (further       north, heading away from town center) Setting: Old Lascassas Road, only back       when it was (debatably) slightly more rural than it is today. It was       definitely very dark (as in        night time, an absence of street lights compared to real life) with a hint of       atmospheric lightning, possibly a storm brewing in the distance.              I (the dreamer) could hear police chatter as if on a radio or possibly a       monitor of some kind of disturbance further up the road (north) about a mile       or two. This disturbance seems to be the focal point of the narrative /       storyline / dream.              There were kids practicing war games on a small, indoor-mountain with points       drawn in marker to help evaluate path, drawn in concentric circles (like a       topographic map, or circular, winding mountain road) to help establish a path       / attack plan. This        whole group of kids were being asked to help out because they were all that       was available at the time, informed how much this was a life-or-death       scenario. Granted, in real life, LJB would never have involved kids to       actively hunt a killer in a live        setting, but they were present in this dream; I'm just reporting what I dreamt.              The objective is a manhunt of a killer on the loose: a killer with advanced       skill levels of combat and hunting as well as evading being hunted. There was       the definite sense that he would be hunting *you* as you were hunting *him.*              Inside a large, dark hall of a large, darkened building, LJG finds himself       seeing an unfocused, *diffused* light originating from behind his head as if       from an angle of 1:30 or 2 o'clock above (and behind) him, appearing on the       ground below and in front        of him at around the 5 to 7 o'clock positions below and in front, on the       ground (angles are approximate.) He senses this is a sniper's laser beam,       aiming from behind him (only it has the appearance of more of an incandescent,       focused light, roughly the        side of a penny or nickle in diameter) and makes a sudden lurch to the right       (as the light's spot went left) to avoid being killed (sensing the light was       about to return right-to-center to blow the back of his head off!)              A scramble / chase ends up with the dreamer (LJG?) spotting movement       underneath a door, prompting him to quickly find a weapon in the room he's in,       like a dorm-level apartment of sorts, but with walls formed of stacks of books       and flat boards as        makeshift shelves, and one or two trunks with stuff (including books) piled on       top of them. I sense there are weapons of some sort inside but they're too       stacked over to get to in a hurry, so he ends up with a single stick of       dynamite with a barely        noticeable 1" fuse.              The killer somehow gets the drop on LJG, where he explains there was a body he       had to search (this is actually perceived in the dream as flashback) which was       apparently a shoplifter, who had a coat with (15? 15"?) inner-lining pockets       (of depth, like one        could drop in a batch of yardsticks or other items) which took the killer a       while to search, whereupon he found a single, loaded gun (seemed like a       revolver) which just happened to belong to LJG, so Leroy was in the dilemma of       having to explain (should        he survive this) how that gun became stolen in the first place, and how it had       ended up with the killer, and if events turned ultimately bad, how it is he       got shot with his own gun (as ballistics would reveal.) Somehow the hunt       resumes, and kids are        swarming up the indoor-hill using scaffolding-like structures along the larger       room's walls.              Two cowardly types spot each other at the bottom after all the gung-ho kids       have already ascended. As the others have JUST taken off, it's more like cold       feet, but one figures he's gonna be the braver of the two, and encourages the       other with a saying        he'd just picked up earlier, like "Man up or be a bride" or something very       similar to such a saying, along the lines of be a man up or have a baby.        Either way, it got them both moving up the scaffolding in search of the killer.              There's some kind of background radio or TV report (unseen audio) on an       approaching hurricane (there's never a hurricane in TN as we're so far north       of the Gulf Coast, so this had a kind of Eastern, Florida, or Gulf coast       flavor to it all of a sudden)        but the weather doesn't seem to be much of a problem at the moment, as LJG and       the killer are still in some kind of hunting the hunter scenario.              There's a scene where the killer appears to be a kind of mentally deranged       female with an appearance much like a younger Jody Foster (late teens to mid       20s?) who seems a bit preoccupied with painting the ceiling of this one LARGE       room with spray paint,        and she's heard talking about how cool it is to paint this place, which seems       to be some kind of military base building. I didn't see her actually applying       the paint, but merely caught a view of her *from* a hallway view, looking in,       yet the idea of her        spray painting the ceiling was conveyed. I had the sense of the colors white       and green, but again, they weren't exactly seen from where I was. I had the       *impression* she was spray painting green over the white walls / ceiling. The       camera perspective        passes by her in a hallway as if in evasive mode, as there's no weapon with       which to arrest her (avoidance in this scene seems preferable, logical,       reasonable to confrontation.)              At some point, it is realized that she's not alone: there's another (3rd)       killer involved, a guy, and he's making a kind of advance with a feeling       similar to an impending checkmate. The dreamer waits behind a door for the       killer to come close, then as        the door opens, the dreamer makes a forward leap to physically strangle the       killer, because it's kill-or-be-killed at this point. The killer appears to       be a hideously decayed yet animated body. The face is half gone, more skull       than flesh, and there's        some kind of jocular chat during this struggle, about the appearance of the       one being strangled, as if he (or a narrator) is making fun of his own       appearance.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
