From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/12/26 Thursday (the day *after*)              Last night (evening— It's DARK at 6:30 PM this time of year, ya know!) I       attended a Church of Christ "sing along" sort of gathering. I was rather       amazed that there was no other Christmas service (of which I was aware) and       that the singalong style was *       totally* unstructured. No liturgy, no service, nothin', just people praying       if they felt moved, or reciting a bit of Scripture, but nothing on the       Christmas story typically recounted from Luke. It's a very "free-range," open       architecture style of        religion, and yet it's over 2000 members and growing! I suspect it started       with wealth and continued to attract the wealthy, along with the poor.              Not sure why I brought that up, but thought I'd mention it.              As to last night's *dreams,* there was this one interesting one that started       out as a typical "need to pee" kind of dream, but set in a large mall-style       building with lots of diverse departments, as if one were going through a       Sears store *inside* a mall        (those days are quickly falling behind us with all the online shopping these       days, but such as they are....) At any rate, I was looking for a mens room,       without much luck. It just occurred to me, that the NEXT time I find myself       in one of those dreams,        I wonder what would happen if I sought out the bathroom mirror? Mirror       reflection dreams can often be quite interesting. Although the trek through       the mall took a good deal of time, I can't remember anything *interesting*       about it, except that in *       another* dream segment, I find myself outside among some trees, AGAIN looking       for a place to pee, only THIS time it's not a person outside so much as it is       a LION! A male lion, best I could tell, with full mane, pretty much like the       MGM critter of fame.         This critter was at a distance of some 30 plus yards away (around 100') and       at least 2 or 3 trees were close enough aligned between us so as to obstruct       his view of me, and I wasn't too intent on meeting him, but didn't feel like       running away, either.        I recollect asking some nearby guy, "Did you *see* that lion?!?" It's unclear       if he did or not. There did not seem to be any excessive panic or alarm-type       reaction.              Finally, and this was likely an earlier / first dream rather than a later /       last one, I found myself outside what appeared to be the wall of a stone-block       castle, not so finely chiseled, certainly not the cement style as found nearby       (in Triune, TN        tnhomeandfarm.com/tn-living/castle-gwynn) but rough-hewn from rocks. Don't       remember much else, other than the feeling one may have as a young child,       pondering the physical structure of one's own home.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
