   Just a quick followup:  The day following this dream (quoted above) I went to   
   vote early, having been driving in the neighborhood of an early voting   
   station.  I found this *incredibly* easy and was somehow "impressed" (as in   
   received an impression) by    
   the people "of different stripes" all showing up to vote (although it was a   
   very small group.  More poll workers than voters at that time!)
