From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/03/05 Thursday              Fell asleep on the couch (again) which is usually a quite deep kind of sleep,       typically devoid of anything, as the TV (at low volume) creates a kind of       sound blanket that the mind uses in such a way as to blanket out all sensory       distractions. If I had        any dreams while on the couch, they are not coming back to mind. (However, my       first "astral (time) bridge" took place one night on a couch, when I drifted       off to sleep with a question on my mind that was answered from 4 years in the       future.)              The point of that introduction being that I got to "bed" around 5 AM, and from       that point fell into a kind of dwelling point / meditation upon "God" which       led me to understand exactly where "God" is found / sensed within a person       (similar to the 6th [       sacral] chakra, but that's simply "off" a bit) and this launched me into a bit       of an envelope of new thought / meditation, which lasted for at least an hour       until I finally fell back asleep. I had *one* short little dream that was       slightly amusing that        I can recall:              I was in what seemed like a hallway of sorts, more like a drawing room, and in       a kind of motion, as two people in communication. To be more specific, I was       telling a pun / joke to my late cousin, Linda, only the fact that she died       some years ago due to        cancer didn't even cross my mind until after I'd awoken from the dream. The       pun / joke went *something* like this:       "What did the diabetic say to the other diabetic?"       (sort of a silent state of expectation from Linda)       "What an unsweetened thing to say?!" (It was a tad funnier in the dream.)       The audible (?) portion of the dream seemed a tad like a fractured       soundtrack. Back in the "old days," records (platters) were prone to pops,       hiss, and skips. In modern online music, there's a kind of skip-break in the       stream that may be heard when a        download is just a tad thin (not enough bandwidth to channel the entire       stream.) When this is seen in a visual representation of the wave file, the       break / skip is actually *visible* as an empty gap (which can be edited out       using wave-editing software)        so that the playback is contiguous / continual / sounds unbroken, because the       data stream is (rendered as) unbroken. I (the dreamer) could *hear* the gaps       in the joke, nearly as a stutter would sound as in real life.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
