From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/03/10 Tuesday:              Getting my calendar header started out right this morning... :)              LOTS of dreams from last night / this morning. I came down with the sniffles       yesterday, feeling like I may have caught them from Church, but that's really       not fair, as I may have caught them from grocery shopping, or these sniffles       *may* just be heavy        allergies / hay fever. Certainly NOT "coronavirus," which is all the rage       these days. However, I *did* get to bed early last night (probably before 11       PM) and only got up with the dog twice. The third time (early this morning) I       turned over and went        back to bed. The funny part was, I had MANY dreams, and I'm relatively       uncertain as to how many I'll actually get recorded here today:              The earliest dream (first remembered from the evening after having fallen       asleep) involved some person *sawing* heads off of people. The act seemed far       less like jihadists using a knife to decapitate, but more like a hacksaw being       used on a thick tree        branch / limb. If you've ever watched the horrific videos of jihadi Muslims       beheading non-Muslims en masse (OR individual beheadings) there's a kind of       visceral gut reaction of "How DARE they?!" or "That just ain't right" or       such. But in this dream,        the sense was more along the lines of "How well did that work?" or the feeling       of satisfaction one gets from the final cut of a tree branch as it falls away       from the trunk. To be clear, I find the actual act of Muslim aggression       (beheading) to be        disgusting, while tree trimming can be actually rewarding. This dream seemed       more *interesting* on the edge of *curious* than anything else. I'm wondering       if it were symbolic of something else entirely. Clarity level 7 or 8.              Another dream that *really* caught my attention was happening by a *slick*       smooth-looking car that reminded me to some extent of a Chevy muscle car.        VERY much like a '69 Dodge Charger, BUT with an edge-nosed front, as if       anything resembling a radiator        was *hidden* behind the front end, so that the leading edge seemed more like a       wind slicer than an air catcher. The vehicle was *sleek* overall, with nearly       NO coloration / detail / emblems on the metal work. It did seem to have a       silver & black motif.         However, it was seen on the curb of a road at night (well, it was a very dark       dream) and there seemed to be no streetlamp nearby. What caught my attention       most was the LACK of identification on the vehicle. I got *in* (surprised to       find the driver's        door unlocked!) and checked out the (dark) instrument panel. I could *barely*       make out what appeared to be a small gauge for the speedometer, roughly 3"x4"?       and turned to get a good look at the rear seats (bench style, not individual       buckets) but did        not see any keys immediately visible, nor a "starter button", and I normally       abide by the rule "look but don't touch" when it comes to someone else's car,       *especially* one that's an eye-catcher. Feeling like I was overstepping my       bounds *just a bit* I        got out of the car and walked away before anyone could "catch" me in it (end       of dream.) Clarity 8+              This other dream had a weird sense of horses to it, and something like a chase       though woods, although it was as if someone (the dreamer) was on foot,       following some bandits on horseback. It emerged into an open area like a       neighborhood, with the horses        now unencumbered and roaming free. I went to a garbage can (the older, round       aluminum / steel kind, not the modern plastic receptacles) in the garage and       fetched out a scoopful of grain which I took around to try and befriend as       many horses as I could.        However, I only came across one, that was VERY much like my pony from       childhood, "Coquette." The other horses seemed to become more like weeds /       bushes / flora. Clarity 7 for the most part.              This other dream before waking involved the three main characters from the old       TV show, Bonanza: Lorne Greene, Little Joe (Michael Landon) and Hoss (Dan       Blocker.) This had an actually LOW clarity level, although the 3 characters       were distinct. I can't        recall exactly what any of the scenery was about nor any action, so it has a       low clarity level of 3, +/-.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
