From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/04/20 Monday (afternoon):              I had a few dreams this morning, notably, involving working at Automotive       Service, but that dream has basically evaporated along with much of the       others, the only thing that's survived evaporation is the one of the kids on       scooters with dogs in the        street. What was so memorable about *that* dream was the last scene, which       was dogs on scooters in the street :) These were the two-wheel type scooters       with a tall front steering bar and T-handle. One dog of note was reddish of       hair color, somewhat        shaggy of coat, and rather lean, much like an Afghan Hound with a spaniel look.              Meanwhile, I really wasn't feeling well last night. I'd been drinking coffee       again and had *forgotten* (or ignored?) the process of lacing the grounds with       baking soda before brewing. ALL OF A SUDDEN last night, getting up off the       couch to let the dog        out, BOTH kidneys just *suddenly* complained! They felt like thin, sharp       knives sticking into my, well, my kidneys, so the next thing I did was mix up       a small glass of water that was heavy-laden with baking soda. NOTE: I       *shoulda* made it a TALL glass        of water with just a tiny bit LESS baking soda, but I wanted to rescue my       kidneys ASAP. Well, about an hour later, sure enough, the pain was subsiding,       BUT I started to experience serious vertigo, which led to dry heaves the likes       of which are normally        experienced as the after-effect of a major night of drinking (like a       hangover.) Needless to say, I didn't feel well. I tried a bit more water and       made it to bed. This afternoon, I was again not feeling too well, and took a       nap to knock out most of the        afternoon. However, there were some afternoon nap dreams that I'd like to       mention.              As I was drifting into la-la-land, one of the things running through my mind       was the way to side-arm pitch a baseball, but I didn't do much of that as a       child, however, I *did* play Junior Pro Basketball (for several years!) and       part of that learning /        practice involved learning how to do the "bounce pass." I started to       "mentally" make one of these and the moment I pushed the ball forward,       *FWOOMP!* it felt as if a rope had been yanked *right out* of me! Strange.              At any rate, an actual *dream* involved Larry Duke over at the dreamer's       location, having something to do with a car, Larry's car, it seemed like.        There was some element involving a bag of well over 100 pennies and some       miscellaneous loose change. The        dream ended with the dreamer heading in to sort and bag them up. The thought       was they were going to be given to Larry, but there was some question in the       dreamer's mind as to whether or not that would actually occur. There was also       an element of a        water bottle, half-consumed, on a kind of ledge / shelf sticking out on the       front right (passenger) door window. There was also some kind of action going       on as if certain objects were being straightened out, like "this goes in your       car, this goes with        me."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
