From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/04/30 Thursday (thru 20/05/04): Exhausting dream!              Hunting people dream:              The first dream of recall is basically a clarity 4 or 5. There was a scene       wherein the dreamer's perspective showed a view as if looking down an alleyway       with a view into an intersection, with a person in shadow / gray who appeared       to be the hunted.        This was a rather short dream, complicated by the fact I can't recall whatever       came before it, but I *suspect* it's based on a news report I saw on Tucker       Carlson on Fox News last night, wherein the ***HYPOCRITICAL*** New York City       Mayor (Bill de Blasio)        *threatened* to *arrest* Hasidic Jews attending a funeral (as a group) while       *at almost the same time* PROMISING to deliver HUNDREDS of "halal meals" to       Mosques (about 30+) *AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE* throughout the city.              De Blasio has *clearly* become dhimmified. :'(               Snake dream:              This is the exhausting dream that seemed to take *minutes* during dream time       alone. (The internal time frame could have been *hours!*) It started with a       couple awaking from sleep in their bed, when a *healthy-sized* snake made       "his" way out from under        the bed and into the middle of the floor. I say "his" because "he" was       referred to in the masculine sense on several occasions. The dreamer's       initial response was one of "healthy respect", if you will, in that an unknown       / unidentified snake needs to        be given as *wide* a berth as possible when first encountered. While his       condition of being poisonous or non-poisonous was not *immediately* known,       that he had the potential to *bite* WAS a concern. The dreamer managed to       *grasp* the snake directly        behind his head, but rather than having a FIRM grip between right thumb and       first finger, it was more of a "pinch" using thumb, first finger over the       snake's neck, and middle finger opposing the thumb. It works, but is NOT as       safe, and requires a LOT        more effort over time. Most of the dream was involved with trying to find a       safe place to let go of the snake, but finding such a spot was becoming       difficult. SOMEHOW a sharp knife was applied to the front side of the snake's       throat / neck, nearly        cutting it off, but not quite. It was hanging onto life by a thread, and       there was a moment wherein the dreamer was greatly concerned that the snake       nearly had his fangs in the underside of the dreamer's (left?) forearm skin,       only it was more like the        dreamer was holding the snake in his right hand while trying to get the snake       free of a right arm. Odd, for sure, but the end became a study on how best to       simply let go of the snake and let it live or die on its own. The final       consensus was to lay the        snake out straight from tail to head, then release the head and move away in       the direction the snake was pointing. This would prevent the wounded snake       from making an immediate strike. The last scene was that of the snake dying       or perhaps on its last        breath.              I awoke from this dream with my right arm *exhausted*, as if I'd been holding       that snake all this time. Clarity 7, perhaps 8.              Lots of other stuff:              There were a few dreams afterward, in a *group* to the point it was dream       after dream after dream, but of "low energy" and "low clarity" in that none of       them return clearly to memory, but that there were *so many* (a half dozen       plus?) was a memory of        itself. My dog awoke me, which was distracting, as I *really* wanted to go       back and try a directed (lucid) dream, but the dog needing to go out took       precedence, and thus my day began.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
