   What does that mean, exactly?  Perhaps a blend of two different cultures?  If   
   you could better identify any ethnicity, it *may* help focus in on the nature   
   of a future event.

   Not exactly sure what that means.  Are you like in a canyon / valley / ditch   
   looking up at cliffs to either side?  If so, that would indicate that in order   
   to reach a higher ground would require a bit of travel, whereas the path   
   before you (at your own    
   level) seems rather "straightforward."

   That's gotta be one of the loveliest lines from a dream scene I've ever read   
   to date.  The water indicates life, and the path it takes (of least   
   resistance) in order to achieve "level" (or find "gravity") while it has   
   sliced through a sizable chunk of    
   the terrain (surrounding activity / "life") in order to get to where it's   
   going.

   Colors within dreams are often cool, but that white (to me, that's perhaps as   
   spiritual as "blue" is to you) and golden seems to indicate a much "higher"   
   position (as in "rock steady.")

   it is like he is reading my future.   
      
   More than likely, this "guy" represents a stronger version of yourself that   
   has reached "back" to tell you "now" of "what is to come."  There's a slight   
   difference between "reading one's future" and "coming back to tell you about   
   it."

   For what it's worth, sometimes "mismatched" is merely a "way station in life,"   
   like a car on a journey, it occasionally needs to refuel along the way.   
      
   I've come to believe there are no such things as "mistakes," only "alternative   
   paths of learning."  Still, I've always been of the opinion there *is* a   
   future ahead of you, waiting for you to move on from where you've been at   
   these past few years.
