He wasn't light skinned, nor dark skinned but somewhere       in between. This clarity may have resulted from me sitting sideways on his       lap so was too close        because I am far sighted.              THIS is interesting: I've noticed that (in my pre-40 years) back when I was       nearsighted (before getting lasik) I would *occasionally* (not often, but on       rare occasions) have dreams that seemed related as to whether or not I was       wearing my glasses,        whereas most often, the issue was never even considered. A dream is mostly a       mental construct (some may say "spiritual" or such, but regardless, it's       recalled in the dreamer's "mind" as it were) so a mental image is either sharp       or fuzzy. However,        AFTER having LASIK, I was rendered *instantly* far-sighted and thus "need" to       wear reading glasses regarding most text, so I get that feeling of a face       being too close to see clearly, and the feel of wanting to "push back" a bit       in order to see it more        clearly.              > Dictionary says, Ravine= a small narrow steep sided valley larger than a       gully.              It's my *impression* that *whatever* size it was, that size was relative to       *your* life, and the experiences in it, with respect to your journey (as to       where you've been, where you are, and where you're heading.) That's just an       impression. Honestly, it'       s all anyone can ever really share with another, right?              > I do think this dream was spiritual in nature especially with the       crystal clear water.              Water = Life, no matter how one looks at it. What KIND of life, however, is       often dependent upon one's relationship with it. (Is one above it, beside it,       within it? Is the water flooding up a room, or as a sea or lapping at the       shore of land, either        as a beach or a cliff, or is it calm as a lake, or choppy like a windy sea,       etc.? I'm often curious as to why the Atlantic is far choppier / rougher than       the Pacific in general.)              > Think the dream was saying people make mistakes or miss their mark in       life sort of like you and Gina.               There's a *fascinating* book on this concept: "One" by Richard Bach. The       part I'm referring to is when he and his then-wife Leslie were in a kind of       "astral vehicle" / "dream craft" that was represented as a floatplane, the       kind that lands on water        using pontoons (a "boat plane.") Most of the book involves their landing and       taking off, and how they deal with targets they see below them. What caught       my attention here was your reference to having missed a mark, which also plays       a bit in the        storyline of the book.              I've arrived at the idea that "there are no mistakes in life: only       alternative paths of learning." In my paradigm, it's a matter of having to       *reach* a mark, rather than having missed it. Even when she and I were       "seeing" each other (in the sense of        talking to each other) I was always plagued with the question of HOW was I       going to ever support us as a married couple / possible family? Believe it or       not, I'm *still* working on that, which is why I wrote that book,       tinyurl.com/TKC-freeview ... If        someone wants to actually make a *donation* for their reading material, they       can visit tinyurl.com/ThyKingdomCome-Book1 -- The reason I use "free or       donate" is because that's the way I prefer to absorb whatever I read as well.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
