From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/07/14 Tuesday:              Mom was complaining of chest pains this morning from all last night, so we       went to the ER this morning, but they disallow visitors, so she's there on her       own for now.              Meanwhile, I had some *really ODD* dreams from last night (so what's new?) but       I hope they're still mostly intact for writing down here:              The one dream of note involved a kind of gathering of people, something like a       bingo hall (but not for bingo) where people were at tables, and the hall       itself was large enough to accommodate dozens, if not maybe hundreds(?)       Meanwhile, I had a name tag        that was given to me for some reason (some evaporation here, but I don't       recall even knowing why I was getting it, exactly, in the dream, although it       did seem sensible at that time) but a few moments later, I (the dreamer in       this time was allegedly        myself) was in a "far" corner of the room (well, "near" to me, because it was       my perspective, but "far" from where I had been moments before) when some guy       picks up a name tag from off the floor and calls my name: "Richard Silk?" at       which point "I" (the        dreamer) responded, and it seems "I" had *lost* the name tag earlier / it had       fallen off, and thus it was returned to me (dream ended.)              In another dream, "I" (the dreamer) seemed to be in charge of a LOT of dogs of       different breeds, maybe a dozen, possibly less, *maybe* more, but it was       certainly a "pack." I don't recall anything else, such as where we were or       what we were planning on        doing, but I *did* feel like the "pack leader" in the sense that I was perhaps       about to take them all for a walk or romp in a bark park.              The ODD dream involved some kind of sheet, similar in size / texture to a bed       sheet, only it was upright and used to wrap either around the dreamer, or the       dreamer wrapped it around another figure. It's *very* likely the dream could       have been portraying        *both* perspectives simultaneously, but regardless, the next thing the dreamer       was aware of was looking out *through* the sheet except that it appeared as if       there was some kind of strange, bird-beaked mask on the outside. The dreamer       could barely see        through two noted eye-holes, which reminded me afterward of how a dog might       "see" through its nostrils. There was a bit of motion involved, a kind of       left-right head motion, as if trying to get a better view outside of the right       side peep hole, when the        dream ended.              That's all for now I suppose. Sure hope Mom gets better soon! (What she       *really* needs is a stint and/or oxygen, but she IS over 90, and looking       forward to her eventual exit.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
