From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/08/06 Thursday:              Nearly every dream (with possibly one exception) from last night / this       morning involved a general theme, with the dreamer being in location X, in       search of location Y. But perhaps the most unusual dream (one that fit the       profile in a very awkward sense)        involved the dreamer in search of a men's bathroom. The searching was in a       kind of hallway area that was more like the open floor area of a larger       facility, perhaps a mall or a factory. The area that appeared it might be a       men's room was a semi-large        room with 4 walls, no stall structures, and only a large, white bucket, upside       down in the middle of the floor. The dreamer tried to lift it (somewhat) only       it had been FILLED with FROGS! Small green frogs, perhaps 1" to 2" in size,       ranging in color        from the dark green shade to a brighter gummy-neon shade (which seemed more       prevalent, at least around the edges.              The bucket was roughly 2' in depth, maybe slightly less in diameter at the       top, much like a 5-gallon paint bucket. But HOW it had been filled with       frogs, flipped upside down, and just *left* there in the middle of the room       was something of a mystery.        Sure, someone could've used a board of some kind as a lid, then flipped the       bucket over then slid out the board, but *WHY*? Just to leave an *elaborate*       prank in the middle of an otherwise empty room, one which was *supposed* to be       a men's room?              The dreamer had only managed to lift this bucket a few inches off the ground.        Being filled with frogs, it was rather heavy / had a LOT of "resistance" to       being lifted. Even dropping it right back down directly, quite a number of       frogs spilled out        around the circumference of the inverted "top" (remember, this bucket is       *upside down* on the floor) yet somehow this one, HUGE frog had managed to get       out. Imagine the size of a frog that practically FILLS up a 5-gallon paint       bucket, then dozens (if        not hundreds) of frogs are filled into the bucket in order fill up the       remaining space. That's how big this frog was. Its color was a kind of tan,       somewhere between the dark green and the neon lime of the smaller frogs,       however "shit brown" comes to        mind, I suppose because it's a colorful adjectival phrase.              The dreamer quickly left the room, along with a few thoughts on the matter,       such as "WHAT? / WHY?" regarding the bucket incident, "What did that huge frog       symbolize? / How did it get there?" "I hope no one saw that / somebody saw       that!" (there was *       someone* in the area -possibly a female, possibly someone who worked there-       who apparently saw the frogs escaping without being returned to the bucket)       and "I'm just gonna leave here without trying to return those frogs to the       bucket. That was just        plain stupid to begin with." The dreamer did continue looking for a men's       room, however. (End of dream.) Clarity 8 to 9. I'd give it a 9+ except that       it was so ODD, and also, it had that familiar "veil-like" quality to those       dreams one may        occasionally have of looking for a restroom.              In another dream, the dreamer is at a theater, one in which apparently the       dreamer is the only ticket buyer, and the person behind the counter is       *possibly* the owner, perhaps a bit depressed that no one is buying tickets,       possibly dejected / depressed        over the "planned-demic" "dem panic" going on these days. There's a counter       in the lobby, nothing fancy, roughly 10' to maybe 16' long, 2½'-3' wide,       maybe 4'-4½' high, with a plain, empty counter top look to it. This is the       same kind of bar that        would normally host a popcorn or drink machine, but it was empty. There       appears to be some kind of artwork scrawled down on one end (the dreamer was       standing as if behind the counter, where a clerk would be, and the artwork was       down on the far "right"        from that perspective.) There seemed to be some discussion between what could       have been a clerk and what could have been a manager, as only the clerk was       even remotely visible in this scene. The clerk seemed to be saying something       along the lines of (       his? her? "my") "daughter" was in earlier and left that, as if such a thing       may have been not entirely proper, but the clerk didn't think to stop it from       happening, even possibly may have been having a great time with the daughter       as she was making these        drawings. The clerk had a sense *similar* to LWD, a long-time associate of my       acquaintance. There's a real-life tragic story with respect to how he lost       his teen-aged daughter to a drunk driver, but that wasn't even remotely sensed       in this dream.              In another dream, the dreamer seems to be intent upon a cross-country journey,       the kind involving fields as well as a bisecting highway. The dreamer cannot       cross the highway at the moment due to the oncoming traffic (which wasn't       there a moment ago, but        someone "with" the dreamer, sort of like a "conscience figure" brought them to       the dreamer's attention, and now they appear as nearly "ghost-like" vehicles,       but they present an obstacle just the same.) The dreamer is starting to feel       impatience at all        the vehicles, then suggests to the narrator that "he" just FLY them over the       road. Sure enough, the thought becomes realized as the dreamer feels as if on       the narrator's shoulders, as the narrator feels the dreamer (as that of a       young child) on his        shoulders, and they "fly" up a small bit and then forward over the highway.        They seem to be across when the dream ends. Clarity 7 (would've been an 8       except the vehicles seemed more like phantom images of light than "solid"       vehicles.)              And yes, there were a LOT of "travel" oriented dreams here...              In this other dream, the dreamer seems to be in the middle of a journey with       only a very few possessions, such as an umbrella with a brown & white       checkered (nearly houndstooth) pattern to it. (Didn't get THAT close a look       at it.) There was something        else in the form of a small bundle or kit, easy for carrying but NOT with a       handle. More like a rolled-up tool kit than a purse, for example. There is a       confusing section here, because the dreamer ends up without the umbrella, and       feels a need to go "       back" and retrieve it. The setting feels more like a large, open (empty)       parking lot.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
