   The dream is obviously about the guy, and I would go so far as to suggest the   
   dreamer may be the 3rd person omniscient OF the man.  However, I'm a bit more   
   interested in the makeup of the people in the group.  How were *they*   
   dressed?  Could that help    
   identify the time period of the event?   
      
    His face is pitted, like from [acne scars] when he was a kid. Along   
   side his face, couple inches down from his eye looks like a big chunk has been   
   taken out of his skin, then healed. I then see dried blood in other places on   
   his face and chest,    
   like he had been in a most recent fight. He is talking to someone, yet I can   
   not hear what he is saying when I wake up.    
      
   I've been watching *some* of "Shark Week" (from The Discovery Channel) on DVR   
   over the past week, which prompts me to wonder if this guy were possibly a   
   shark bite victim?
