*That* is an *excellent* point! (from a particular perspective....)

Great Britain, circa 1775, may be viewed as "pregnant" with America, back
then was just a collection of colonies, much like a *fetus* is a colony of
(living, not yet "breathing") cells. The Revolutionary War was equivalent to
   the "birth cries" of a
new nation (the USA) which eventually learned to feed and fend for itself in
the World (*and* defend!) In that same sense, Christianity is the child of
Judaism, and Lutheran (well, ALL protestant) denominations are the offspring
   of the Catholic Church,
so in keeping with the (4th or 5th) Commandment, thou shalt honor [thy
   ancestry.]

So *thank you* for helping clarify that for me, just a bit!

As to "criticizing," however, pointing out one's mother's features is not
"criticizing" (in my opinion) but "honoring" *would* seem to work better in
   general. √

Now: where did *this* come from? Have you been reading my earlier stuff?
(Now I need to go back and re-edit an entire chapter!... maybe.) (Please
note: "you are" is *always* duality.)
