From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020/08/24 *MONday:*              OK, so I've gotten my calendar screwed up (again!) Not sure how that happens,       but I'm seeing that today is 8/24/2020, MONDAY.              Had a LOT of dreams last night, but fortunately, this late in the day, only 3       or 4 of note have survived:              Driving "assignment"? from Automotive Service       Driving while reclining, looking over my right shoulder to see ahead       Construction of cabin (?) porch floor (?)       Discovery of *odd* cat under porch       Travel through *WEIRD* community              I've re-arranged (?) some of these as they almost seem to weave a relatively       "straight" narrative / timeline, although they were all discrete / separate       dream sequences (or so I thought?):              One dream involved a kind of "driving assignment" from where I worked in the       past at Automotive Service. Not much detail remaining from the dream itself,       almost entirely evaporated, but it does set the tone for the next sequence:       The dreamer was traveling as if north on US-41, in the same pattern I used to       test drive vehicles for Automotive Service. There was an awkward bit to this       dream, however: the dreamer was "reclining" as if asleep in bed on one's       right side (which,        incidentally, was likely just how I was sleeping in bed at that time) which       required a sort of "look" upward, "ahead", to the right as it were, in order       to see the road ahead.              The dreamer arrived at a work site similar to that of a house under       construction. There appears to be a kind of "before" sense as well as an       "after", as if both time frames were superimposed over each other, making this       one a bit confusing to write out        in a linear fashion. In the "before" sense, the dreamer seemed aware of an       amount of lumber that needed arranged in order to create a cabin porch       "floor." However, in the "after" sense, the dreamer feels as if "he" had       arrived AFTER the construction,        and felt a bit "left out" of the process, but appreciated the way the porch       floor itself had been constructed: *round logs* (straight timber) had been       aligned side-by-side as the floor of the porch, however, it was all covered       with flat planking (maybe        ½" to â…ž" thick, perhaps 6" wide. Didn't catch the board "length.") There       seemed to be a "path" by which an individual could navigate from off the porch       into the porch area, under the porch ceiling, up to the back door.              UNDER a porch (possibly the same porch?) there appeared to be an ODD breed of       cat. Imagine black fur, but "round" all about, such that instead of a cat,       the critter appeared to be a cylindrical shape, not unlike a fuzzy-wuzzy       caterpillar. Still, the        dreamer befriended the cat and nuzzled its fur without incident. What       *became* of the cat was not a part of the dream, other than it seemed missing       a bit later, and there is a *scrap* of a dream fragment involving a dead       rodent lying upon the ground.              The last dream of note was the *weirdest* by far: it was as if the dreamer       were traveling through a kind of mobile home park, *possibly* a nudist colony       (like Rock Haven off Bradyville Hwy) *except* that instead of seeing nudes       outside, there were        statue-like figures of people, mostly men, mostly bearded / nearly furry, such       that there was no "explicit" art to speak of, but the figures seemed made of       silvery-white marble or some such. It just felt *weird* traveling through the       area. Dream ended.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
