From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020-09-06 Sunday:              Life as a Bird       Critter in a Can?       Working for the Eerie Canal (as a band member / as a ride-guide)       Gina's Car (rear exterior)       Street Corner Gas Station (lamp post removal & bill)              Life as a Bird:              This dream starts with the dreamer *in the mind / being* of a small bird,       being taught how to sense fish in the water below, and how to simply pluck a       fish out of the water (it's really super-simple!) So the dreamer (bird) makes       a catch (feeds) and        swallows it, no problem. Some activity passes, involving flying about to       another (later) location, where there is another bird, possibly injured or       incapacitated in some way, and the objective is for the dreamer to retrieve       one of two fish previously        set aside as snacks for later, the objective to give one to the injured other       bird (I'm assuming it would've been simply transferred over, whole, however,       the dream ends before this is accomplished.) The dreamer/bird was in the       process of seeking out        one of the former snack-fish when the dream ends. There was a parting       question or comment, however, regarding the type of fish that was snored, and       the question that was formed was along the lines of something similar to: "Are       you sure you'll be OK with        [type X]?" Clarity 6 to 7. The whole things was practically a        ymbolic/"sensed" dream with very little in the way of actual visual elements.              Critter in a Can?              This is a short dream that has the dreamer sensing there is another critter       (possibly the injured bird in the previous dream?) trapped in a can/container       of some type, such that the trapped critter simply cannot get out, and the       dreamer is on an errand        to find and/or feed the critter, provided it is still alive, which is       unknown. Clarity more like a 5, with basically only the element of need,       practically no visual elements. Mostly just a sense of need-to-resolve.              Working for the Eerie Canal (as a band member / as a ride-guide):              This one was VERY visual: it began with the dreamer in a red, detailed       outfit, very much like a 1960s-'70s style (heavy) band uniform, similar to a       "bellhop" or (older) "valet" type outfit, maybe later teens or early 20s.        While (his?) job at that point        wasn't exactly clear, there were others present in more yellow (gold) colored       uniforms, only this was far closer to that uniform color of pale, yellow-gold       than to the metallic shimmer of gilt-golden gold. It was as if those in this       uniform had a        specifically different job. I can't say this was a communist-state-like       location, but it had the feel of employees of the State, but NOT at the       Federal level. Just low-level employees of a state park-run facility, for       instance The dreamer finds a        gold jacket just *lying* upon the ground outside of a building and puts it on       in order to go inside.              Inside there seems to be an area similar to the method used by amusement parks       to queue riders into ride cars or boats: It seems like a relatively large       hall, except that there's a current of water running through a channel in the       floor, and long, flat        boards (rafts) are in the water, with the idea being that riders get onto       these rafts (maybe as many as 4 at a time, if seated correctly) with an area       at the rear of each board where a "launcher" stands to pole or otherwise get       the board started in a        forward direction. This part was just confusing enough that it was unclear       whether the poler / launcher (the dreamer) was supposed to ride with a board       or to launch consecutive boards with riders. (The consecutive method seemed       to be in use.)              There came a moment when the dreamer was pondering whether he should       (literally) "hop aboard" (please pardon the slight pun) and ride with one of       the boards to its destination. To call this an "eerie canal" is perhaps       another pun, but it seemed like a        logical, fun, *normal* means of travel. As the dreamer seemed to still be       pondering whether or not to hitch a ride on a board, there was some element of       travel on foot along the hallways that paralleled the water course / canal.        The dreamer was        possibly between building junctions when the dream ended. Clarity 7+ to 8-,       due to some of the underlying confusion, but I have a *strong* hunch this       dream may be related to an upcoming *possible* 40th reunion for the class of       GCHS '81. (Some reunion        classes are held in the Fall rather than later in the Spring in order to       gather at a homecoming game or such.)              Gina's Car (rear exterior):              The dreamer (most likely myself) is standing outside, looking at the rear end       of Gina's car. (This knowledge / understanding is basically a given, no       direct evidence required.) The rear license plate appeared more like a larger       message board, such as        an indicator of some activity or area she's been involved in. When the dream       was in progress, the readability of everything *seemed* clear, although the       dreamer was experiencing some difficulty in making it out exactly. The       *general gist* of the        message was a kind of email / web address relating to individuals who prefer       absolute privacy, not unlike "Anonymous@LeaveMeAlone.com" (as an example.)              The dreamer felt sadly misunderstood that someone should ever have to express       let alone endure any such feelings, but such was the message. Clarity 8 to 9       (of all things!)              Street Corner Gas Station (lamp post removal & bill)                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
