   2020-09-08 Tuesday:

   Polarized Room in Sections:

There's a rather large room (nearly the size of a convention room) that's
divided into an alternating polarized alignment of subsections: Section A
runs NE to SW, while section B is a mirror, running SW to NE. You can tell
   they're "polar opposites"
because each section resembles a super-slide (those tall amusement rides that
you climb up several stories and slide down on a gunny sack— like a water
slide, but a super-slide does not depend on running water.) Clarity 6-ish,
   likely a matter of scale,
and whatever those super-slide-like structures were was never clearly
resolved (unless, of course, they WERE super-slides, as seen from a high
altitude, in which case the clarity was *nearly* an 8.)

   Room of Deconstruction:

This individual (normal reference size) room (yet still on the larger size
(this is no small 8x10 bedroom) appears cluttered with the toys and stuff of
young children. There is a kind of allowance of anyone in the room to "clean
   up" the place by taking
what they want. Clarity 7. Nothing was really clear in the room, nor the
cause nor the purpose of the disorder nor the possibly one or two children
involved (it was "their stuff" that was getting dismantled.)

Neighborhood (Town Area) of Civil Unrest:

This one bothers me a bit, in the sense that the anarchists of Portland (for
the last hundred-plus days) are spreading (through the terrorist organization,
Antifa) in real life to a few other towns, wherever a law enforcement agent
   shoots a criminal
suspect dead. Sure, the case of Breonna Taylor is an outrage / failure of law
enforcement, but that's one horrific example. In most every other case, the
suspect getting shot or ending up dead is resisting arrest (*including* George
   Floyd, who was
counterfeiting prior to his arrest!) However, in this dream, there seems to
be a need for various people to move with caution through a darkened (night?)
scene, and protection of young children seems to be the major concern.
   Clarity 8.

   Assassination (Jihad Stage 3?):

This dream starts with a female Nazi-type gal in uniform (maybe in her
unhappy, hardened 30s or 40s?) with a gun. The first assassination (murder in
cold blood) is totally unclear, as if what just transpired happened so
   quickly, without notice, all that'
s observed is a body collapsing in the street. The action picks up with a man
(who would reasonably be viewed in a corporate position) making his way
not-at-a-run-but-with-purpose-to-elude *away* from the woman. It is clear her
   intention is to shoot
him dead. It's clear that his intention is to avoid getting shot. The
problem is that the street he is in isn't that wide, and the clutter along
both sides of the way are anything *but* a "clear path" of exit. The dreamer
   can *sense* her intentions to
shoot him dead, for her perceived reasons of (military? fascist?) "justice"
while his intention is to clearly escape a bullet shot in the back, and to
hopefully escape to live another day. There is a *feeling* that the dreamer
   in this scene may have
moved from the first shot body to the femi-Nazi to the individual ("the
quick") trying to avoid becoming "the dead." Clarity 8+. I mean, as a movie
scene, it's practically a 9+/10-, but as to *what the hell is going on here?*,
   the dreamer can only
report on the view, not upon what precipitated it (other than perhaps a
dystopian view of Joe Biden's / Bernie Sanders' America.)

   Group going out to eat:

Scene opens with a group of people (maybe 6 to 8?) working on getting into a
van in order to go eat somewhere. There is another car, which the dreamer
feels is his/hers, except that the dreamer has no desire to be the one person
   driving a car to follow
a van. The problem is that the van is packed full except for ONE seat on the
left side behind the driver, which is allegedly saved for a girl who has
apparently gone back to get something. The dreamer (feeling like a "him" in
   this scene) figures it may
be rude to displace her, but he takes the seat with some kind of rational that
either she comes back or she doesn't, and if she does, then she can deal with
the issue of where to sit. If it comes back on him, well, then that's another
   issue. Clarity 9-.

   Funeral for a Fruit:

Decades back (in real life) there was a guy that went to Grace Lutheran Church
(Glenn Jenkins Taylor) who later went to the more liberal (ELCA) Advent
Lutheran (in the same town.) He was not only a member of the Sons of the
   American Revolution, but also
of the Sons of the Confederacy— he was also a queer duck. Back in the 1970s
(possibly '80s) a relative of mine who was in law enforcement at that time
reported on how GT was arrested / caught behind the bushes at the public golf
   course (on Old Fort
Park) with another (male) golfer, which was rather taboo at the time, and
likely still is today. The woman he ended up marrying (rather late in life)
was *clearly* an alto, although a relatively good one (from what little I
   heard of her singing.)

At any rate, there was a vague dream regarding singing (in which the dreamer
*was* singing! I enjoy dreams where "I" get to sing, as my voice in real life
was seriously limited by the brain damage I incurred in 2013, but the dream
   voice is typically not
quite so restricted) and although I had a clear sense of what was being sung
in the dream, it's evaporated upon recall. I had to search online for the
better part of half an hour just to find Taylor's obituary (as I couldn't
   remember his name.) In the
dream, there was a brief image of Jim Klaus, the finest tenor in Murfreesboro
(since I lost half my voice. It used to be something of a toss-up, more a
matter of "taste" as to which "style" or "sound" one preferred.) If I had
   *not* walked out of that
leftist (Advent) congregation (it's hypocrisy of referring to secular, gay
marriage as "Holy Matrimony" was intolerable) and *had I not* lost half my
voice, I well could have found myself singing for that queer duck's funeral,
which is what I suspect the
dream was about. Clarity 8+. It may well have been a 9- if I could have
retained the words / tune / name of that song I'd been singing in the dream.
It was NOT "The Song of Isaiah". GT was not a member of any choir of either
church, as far as I can
   remember.
