   2020-09-09 Wednesday:

Last night was one that seemed like a final curtain call for Mom, but must've
been simply one out of a series. Apparently she took an antibiotic every 12
hours for the prior 36, which left her suddenly a-shiver, and she went to the
   Jacuzzi-jet tub (with
built-in heater/timer) to take a bath. She doesn't do this often, as the tub
is too difficult at her age and condition to get in and out, as she found out
last night. The heat always leaves her limp / drained, and last night was
   even worse, but I
learned how to fish an old lady out of a tub with my eyes closed. Around 3 AM
the dog got me up for her usual early morning patrol, but when I returned to
the hallway, I discovered Mom had gone into the tiny, master half-bathroom and
   couldn't get out.
We had another assisted-living-type episode, but I got her back to her bed,
and apparently she's much better this morning. I can only imagine that when
you're her age (90+) that taking antibiotics needs to be cut into half-doses,
   at least!

At any rate, I'd normally not share such personal details, but it did make
getting back to sleep a bit worrisome: I was mentally going over a checklist
for EOL procedures. I finally must've ("must HAVE") drifted to sleep, because
   of the dream I had
before waking, which involved something about opening a window to help with
the air current / breeze / temperature, and was set in something akin to a
police station, possibly a hospital, where there was at least one security /
   law enforcement type guy (
likely the dreamer) and some other guy passing by out in the hallway, having a
discussion regarding the spread of symptoms to [this area/level] with the
passing guy saying about the basement / holding area / overflow being
   super-saturated (with
contamination, a "hot zone.") The dreamer heard the conversation distinctly,
however, recall is horrendously vague (nearly evaporated) so I can only post
what the conversation was *like*, rather than verbatim.
