From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020-10-05 Monday:              The dream before waking (between 6 AM and 10 AM) was the most notable:              It began with the dreamer viewing an area that seemed like a 5' pit but large       enough to serve as a pet confinement area, maybe 10' to one side, 6' to       another, but measurements weren't exactly being made. The main focus was that       the bottom of the pit was        quite green, as if a lawn had been maintained, although it wasn't evenly mown       like someone's front yard, rather, it was simply what it was. In this area       were a small goat and I *think* a pig, although I'm having interfering thought       images that it may        have been a pig and a cat, but I'm fairly certain it was a goat and a pig.        The gestalt was that these two critters often played a bit and presented much       amusement at the human observer level. My personal (innate?) sense of animal       friendship kicked in,        and I jumped (more like "alit") down into the area to greet them and see if I       could possibly befriend either or both of them. In hindsight as I type this,       it strikes me that jihadist-type (or devout) Muslims view non-Muslim Jews       often in a very        derrogatory fashion, while some Jews may have a view of Muslims such that both       animals "in the pit" represent the two major conflicting nations / races in       the Middle East today, except that since Trump began the Abraham Accords, *at       least TWO* Arab        nations (the UAE and Bahrain) have *both* signed on, with others lining up,       AND Guatemala has moved its embassy to Jerusalem, with around 80 or so more       nations lining up with plans to move THEIR embassies from Tel Aviv into       Jerusalem. But I digress....              No sooner had I begun attempting to befriend either or both of these critters,       than the scene basically shifted so that I found myself inside a house very       similar in age and construction to something from the 1950s in an area of       Murfreesboro around        Olympia Place or possibly Sherrill Blvd, back in that area. The dreamer       seemed in the living room of a house, and had the very distinct impression he       was in the home of Richard Bach, the author, except that Bach would *most       likely NOT* be living in such        a home in such a neighborhood in an older (practically underbelly at times)       section of Murfreesboro. But to continue:              The dreamer was taking in the décor of the room, noting it was not entirely       dark, but of a bluish hue throughout, and there was a *remarkable* mural-type       painting (*roughly* 7' wide by 2½' high, again, the dreamer wasn't       *specifically* taking        measurements, but *was* noting its *size*!) which had running across the top,       from left to right, a kind of "gust of wind" or even "astral trail" of perhaps       a few inches, like a masculine arm-width, which covered MOST of the length of       the mural. The "       astral arm trail" ended with a (left) hand pointing an outstretched index       finger (it was obviously the left hand because of the thumb visible, as toward       the viewer) which, in writing this up, reminds me of one of Satan's nicknames,       "the accuser." I didn'       t notice the finger pointing AT anything, other than the end of the mural       itself. However, what began to catch the dreamer's attention were the smaller       details practically embedded or portrayed along the mural.              Note: the background color of this mural was that of a computer's soft       white-screen appearance, bordering upon a sandy yellow tint, perhaps the color       of clean parchment. The dreamer was working on deliberately trying to identify       the few scant objects        portrayed upon this long mural. This one object looked like a beach umbrella       or possibly a satellite dish. There were perhaps 2 or 3 objects on this       mural, and the dreamer simply was unable to obtain any kind of clear focus on       or understanding of them.         I have personally learned that the harder one tries to scrutinize something       in a dream, the more likely one is to break out of it, so perhaps that may       explain why the dreamer stopped analyzing the mural.              More to the point, another person walked in and a conversation was begun.        There was a slight discussion of age, where the dreamer was asked to guess how       old the other guy seemed to be. Please note that this other guy was at 6'       tall or possibly shorter,        short, dark hair but with wisps of gray throughout, and the dreamer simply       guessed "around 59?" although the dreamer *thought* he was conversing with       Richard Bach, who is MUCH older (June 23, 1936 (age 84 years)) so the apparent       "youthful" look was a bit        disconcerting. There was a bit more to the conversation, which has since       become a bit muddled in my memory, but it ended with something akin to the       dreamer piping up about "I'm 59 myself," which is interesting, because that is       my age presently, although        I often have to stop and think about it in order to make sure. There was some       other bit of conversation, wherein the dreamer observes, "I've been assuming       your name; we've not been formally introduced yet. I'm Richard Silk. And       your name is...?" He        replied, "Richard Bach."              About this time, a (well lit!) female a bit further back in the room behind       him began speaking loudly and directly. Not an angry bark, not an alarming       tone, but definitely loud and hard enough on the dreamer's ears that he       mentioned he couldn't hear        anything the other guy just said, and kinda "ducked out" of the dream,       basically tucking his chin down to the left. The next moment, I was awake in       my bed. For the most part, clarity 9+ at times, but it dipped into 8 at       points, and IF the two animals        at the start were symbolic of the Middle East situation, it could easily       classify in the 7 range.                     A work-related dream:                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
