From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2020-10-10 Saturday (a numerically significant date!)              (Note: putting a copyright on the 4th release of the book I've been editing.)       In one dream, the dreamer is in a boat, similar to a 14 to 16 footer where the       left and right seats in the cabin stretch out into left & right (port and       starboard) beds. The craft seems to be simply afloat in calm water, and the       wind (?) is gently        blowing the boat in a counter-clockwise circle, when the boat apparently       points relatively north. This is, of course, relative as to whether the dream       scene is indicative of real life, with the sun arcing across the south as it       travels from east to west.        The point is that the dreamer was reclining on the starboard couch on his       (?) back when the boat pivoted to the north. This aimed the dreamer's face       southward as the boat pivoted, bringing the sun right across the dreamer's       field of vision (from left        to right.)              I do not recall at this time ever having a dream wherein the sun was passively       viewed in such a manner. In fact, I can't recall ever having looked at the       sun before in a dream anywhere. At any rate, the pivoting of the boat       resulted in the boat        continuing around in a counter-clockwise direction, such that the view of the       sun (relative to the boat) exited rightward on across, but the moment of       sunlight was so bright as to awaken the dreamer (me) momentarily. Clarity       9+++ for certain.              There was another much smaller dream (later, not directly connected with the       view of the sun) involving the floating dock scenario out on a lake. Can't       recall any of it other than it was there, clarity 2 or 3.                     In another land-based dream, the dreamer was (as if) walking north along       US-231 N, starting from near the intersection of Clark Blvd, on the right       (east) side of the street. What was clearly the point of this dream was that       the land was plowed / graded        to smooth dirt. LOTS and LOTS of space of just dirt. The dreamer was       contemplating just how beautiful the dirt / ground itself actually *is*— how       the dirt can support building / development, or crops, or homes, etc.        Anything. The level dirt was        simply wonderful. At the second "lot" (on the right) the dreamer seemed to be       walking up along a bulldozed path, wondering what had existed in this space       PRIOR to the leveling of the ground. There was some small amount of detritus       in the soil, as if        plumbing and / or wiring had been bulldozed under. The ground itself around       this area seemed more "hardened," as if it had been used for a driveway for       construction pickup trucks, etc., creating an almost driveway-like path. The       "end" of this path was        marked by a large rock, maybe 3' high, about the shape of an egg, buried       halfway in the ground. The dreamer had the impression that a bulldozer had       simply pushed that rock as far back as was necessary (out of the way) and just       left it there.              In another dream, the dreamer is *viewing* a young female (under 25, but       likely at least 18 on up, with that "new young adult" kinda vibe) with a       tomboy-like figure and certainly with some outdoor athletic ability, as she       appears to be working her way        down a double-wall rope grid. Now just a bit on this dream: I HEARD IT       audibly, words ALONE, briefly, THEN saw the visual action *accompany* the SAME       audio sequence. The words were something like "this side, weird side, this       side, weird side, this        side, weird side...." (could've been the words "odd side, weird side", or       even "left side, weird side." Mind you, the dreamer's perspective was VIEWING       the gal as she descended the rope walls. So the *camera-left* side would have       been *her* RIGHT side,        which was made of a roughly square-shaped rope grid. Every time she was       refering to (either "this" or "odd" or "left", let's just say "x-side") she       was referring to the squarish grid on HER right. Everytime she referred to       the "weird side," she was        referring to the irregular (triangular?) shaped ropegrid on her left.        Regardless, she was using both sides to lower herself down from what must've       been a very high perch originally (like at least 2 or 3 stories up, maybe       higher?) WHY she didn't just        climb down on ONE side of a rope wall is unknown. WHY this was *heard* BEFORE       it was heard AND seen is unknown. The dreamer ended up with a camera view       from BELOW the female, viewing up AT the female. There was some question in       mind as to whether or        not this was some kind of rite of passage (or not.) There was a question in       mind as to why this action was being performed without some kind of safety       harness or such. But upon reflection, it seems unworkable to have a hook at       the top of a safety        harness if the objective is to get to a lower location, but I CAN see how this       would work from a waking point of view: always keep the hook attached BELOW       waist level, with the safety end attached to the climber's waist. Then every       time the climber        gets to the hook, re-locate it at the next lower point. But that WOULD be       cumbersome, and all one would really need do in case of a slip would be to       reach out and grab either side of the rope wall. Was this the dream of the       conscious process of a        spider weaving a web? Perhaps not the weaving portion, but it certainly would       count for movement across a web. Except why the two sides? And no spider I       know of weaves a square-grid web. They're always a circular orb pattern.        Note that the rope        segments on the left (camera right) DID appear irregularly triangular.        Clarity 7.              In this other dream, the dreamer seemed concerned about a record player that       is left running across the street in (what would be in real life) the       neighbor's driveway area, apparently under a sheet of some kind. The dreamer       uncovered the record player        and found it spinning at about 78 RPM (or possibly 45 RPM for a 33 LP.        Regardless, it had that chipmunk sound to it. This dream seemed unresolved as       well as unexplained, easily clarity 5 for those reasons.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
