I'm hoping they try to reestablish contact. Not sure how that will work, or
if I'll even still be alive, however, I've begun writing books (1st one is
already out, ___) which hopefully will at least give them some idea of the
   experiences that made /
make up their dear old dad.

Meanwhile, Joyce's absolute fear / panic / threat of being present TWICE when
Charles was set to come visit created a stir whereby she, the kids and I were
gathered together into the van and drove off. This "jilting" of Charles
   (TWICE!) was the last
straw in his view, and he's been incommunicado ever since. Poor guy. My
heart goes out to him, but there's not a lot I can do. I was trying to
preserve the safety of those kids (and I suppose myself!) by getting her clear
   of a panic-inducing situation.
If only I'd known then what I know now... Still, a man is only as sensible
as the woman he's ___ mating. (And vice-versa!) I'm not *too* concerned with
what traits his mother may have shared. She's (if nothing else) *extremely*
   sensible. Her
paramour, "El Sid" on the other hand, he has some rather "hostile" traits.

At any rate, Charles is allegedly a father now as well. But until I have some
form of communication / confirmation, I'm only "suspected" of being a
   grandfather.
