There's a line of thinking that goes along the line that any building in a
dream represents a person, while rooms may represent groups of people gathered
together, whereas a cityscape would represent a LOT of (developed) people (a
   country view of lots of
farm buildings would be rural people, caves carved into a hillside would
likely be Afghan terrorists, etc.) So taking this garage to represent your
own life, for the moment, it possibly represents a repository of old ideas
   (possibly from your teens, 20s,
30s, or maybe even PAST lives!) that you've not examined or even used in a
   long time.

   >I see something sticking out of the ground so go over and pull on the
material and it comes out of the dust. I realize it is a bedspread with a
white background and lines about 2/8 of an inch wide and maybe two ft. long
going every which way across the
   quit. [quilt?]

So the question here is, does a bedspread represent a bedspread, or some other
fabric / material which you have woven into your life and use it for a safe,
comfortable layer at night? Just a contemporary note: the upcoming 2020
   Presidential election is
literally one that determines Life (Trump) or death (Biden) for America. If
Biden wins, there will be NO more security at night, other than what one
creates for oneself (like, do you sleep with a gun under your pillow? Don't
   answer that!!)

   >The colored [stripes] are red, green, blue and orange.

The red / green stripes seem to represent the GOP and Life; the blue
represents the DNC, and "orange man bad" (referring to Trump's shade back when
he used to use a tanning bed in New York) is an interesting phrase, because
   orange (the color most spoken
by liberals) is the OPPOSITE color of green (NOT complimentary, but OPPOSITE)
just as death is the opposite of life. Of course, this is just an objective
opinion. Your life may vary :-)

   > I see more material sticking up in all this dust, so pull at least two more
out, each with a different pattern. Then I see a plastic bag at the back of
the garage, go check it out. I open the large bag noticing chunks of home made
   soap broken up into
egg size pieces. Wake up just then.

Interesting: The homemade soap is VERY old-fashioned knowledge / wisdom, how
to make soap from animal / hog fat, for instance. While political conditions
eventually crumble into dust, certain things last for generations on end
   (hence, the plastic bag
which protects the soap.) Did you ever see the movie, "Fight Club"? Your bag
of homemade soap strongly reminds me of it. Apparently, there's a way to turn
homemade soap into nitroglycerin. Go figure?
