From: dicksilk@gmail.com              15:40 PM 11/1/2020              So the time zone has adjusted back to "Central STANDARD Time" and for the next       few months, I won't worry about the time stamp on my dream journals. HOWEVER,       it would greatly behoove me to keep a recording device (perhaps in the future)       such that I can        keep a verbal record to help me transcribe my notes later. Even so, last       night's dream was a DOOZY of a "liquid" dream, in that everything FLOWED from       one idea to the next. There was practically ZERO linear continuity       whatsoever. Even as wild dreams        go, this was perhaps "unhinged" in that nothing really "connected" to       anything, other than perhaps the tiniest thread of a plot, having something to       do with life-form A transitioning to new location B. This dream was like an       LSD trip only as a dream.        Imagine for a moment, a batch of Boston baked beans (the brown sugar style)       only they were animate to the degree of being their own life form. Other than       that, most every other aspect of the dream has evaporated, other than the       memory upon waking that "       THAT was WEIRD!" I wonder if *perhaps* it may have been from the perspective       of a nihilist or anarchist, where there is NO law, NO order whatsoever. There       wasn't really anything "unpleasant" about it, just that nothing seemed to flow       in a linear form.        Thought A prompted thought B which prompted thoughts C, D, and E, etc., yet       nothing really seemed "connected"— for example, *even the thought* of a seed       has a connection to the thought of watching a movie with a bag of popcorn.        NONE of that dream felt        "connected" OTHER than the concept of some lifeform getting to a new location,       and that's where I'll have to leave it. Clarity 3, maybe. At least it was       colorful, imaginative, and entertaining at the time!              Another dream involved some type of small animal(s), either dog or rabbit       related. Too much time spent working on a dead Roomba to even try to recover       the dream.              Another dream involved a rather coherent discussion with a female. No details       remain, however. In a slightly related dream, a female seemed to be making       moves on the dreamer, but that did not lead to anything noteworthy (or       memorable.) One female (not        sure of which dream or where this occurred) appeared mid-30s, maybe 20       something, with a nice head of big hair (think volume, not much beyond       shoulder length, but "out" around all the sides, not unlike a powdered-wig       look, but more modern, and certainly        that of a female, possibly a news commentator or socialite. She had a       youthful appearance BUT her hair was silvery in color, and she appeared to be       wearing black framed glasses. Personal note: she had a kind of cross-look       between Beth Stone and Kathy        Metcalfe, but chances are not too many readers will ever figure that out, if       any. The coherent dream discussion ended before waking, and I would've been       able to transcribe it verbatim it was that clear, except now it's all       long-gone / evaporated.              15:54 PM 11/1/2020              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
