Got a new toy last Wednesday, a (formerly owned) Google Chromebook. After
losing a day thinking it would not connect to the network, I began studying it
more in depth yesterday, using my reading glasses, only to discover one of the
   characters of the
wireless MAC address had been "seen" (without the reading glasses) as either a
B or an 8, but WITH glasses, the correction was spotted, made, and now the
system works online like a genie in a bottle! The device only has 2 USB
   ports, but other than that,
appears to be flying well, with the exception that accessing any kind of
"drive" or "folder" or "file' on the system is basically untenable. There
*appears* to be around 8 GB of save space, but I'm still learning about that,
   and for all intents and
purposes, hooking it up to an external mouse and keyboard makes for MUCH
faster / cleaner typing. The right click function of the mouse is
super-obscure on the chromebook, as it doesn't actually have a physical right
click on the device. If one wishes
to right click anything, one must use shift + the search key (in place of the
caps lock key) + the speaker up key (increase volume). Even then, the right
click doesn't work in every case, where using an external mouse with a right
   click does the trick.

OK, so what about dreams from last night? all vague, very little recall,
however, the dreams from around 6 to 11 AM were all far more detailed / of
   interest:

   The prisoner:
The dreamer was as a prisoner (certainly felt like one) with people (at least
one person) in charge directing what one could or could not do. Very much
like living under Shari'a, I suppose. I have a rather foreboding concern that
   the USA *could* end up
under Shari'a control IF Congress fails to override the electoral college on
January 6th. Meanwhile, I'm hoping Trump's legal team can effect a change,
   but still, there's always Congress....

   The lecture?:
The NCIS LA character, Sam Hanna, played by LL COOL J, was giving a lecture
from a stage. Note that in the dream, the person giving the lecture COULD
have been LL rather than the character SH. This simply was not made clear in
   the dream. A foreign (
Arabic?) word was mentioned aloud, which seemed to have a translation as
"permitted wives", of which LL had over a half-dozen, closer to a dozen. The
dreamer was viewing them all standing in a line, the view scan moving from
   left to right, as the
dreamer attempted to count them, all wearing full cover burqas although at
least one of them was blue with sparkly fashion trim.

   The job?:

The dreamer seemed to be involved in an all-day affair at a place similar to a
Wal*Mart, with various departments, and in at least one area, he removed his
coat and continued to either work or go about the location. What was most
   notable about the dream
was the sense of "time to go" along with a sense of "what happened to my
coat?" The search for the coat was starting as the dream ended.

While I'm sure there were many more, evaporation has largely occurred, and I'm
just not in the mood to do digging into mental archaeology just to pull out a
   nearly forgotten dream or two.
