From: dicksilk@gmail.com              11:46 AM 12/3/2020              The 4-item dream:              The dreamer was sloshing around in a pit of water at least up to the       shoulders, working at tugging pieces of wood around in the water. There is       *some* possibility that this *may* have been a result of watching the Nova       special (on DVR) last night about "       Saving Notre Dame" (or restoring it, what have you. A good deal of the show       discussed the rebuilding of the roof, aka "the forest", which of course burned       up entirely back in April.) The dreamer pulled up two boards which appeared       to be nailed,        although nails were likely NOT used in the building of Notre Dame. But be       that as it may— the dreamer also encountered a location OUT of the water       involving a tub / basin, not affixed to any wall, and the process of using a       "scrubbie" on it in order        to clean it was the action. A 3rd element of this dream involved another       individual, a smaller, younger male (perhaps late teens, early 20s?) who had a       noticeably obsequious air about him, as if doing a good job and pleasing the       boss was the only thing        that mattered. I know there was a *fourth* element to this dream, but it's       evaporated.              The field:              The dreamer was in view of a large field, seen as if on the north side (the       field facing south) of a road running east to west. It was seen in a       yellowish tint, like perhaps flax or possibly wheat, but as the dreamer       approached the field, buildings        began to appear (perhaps starting as farm-like buildings) then modernize a bit       (like a strip mall.) The dream ended.              Yes, there were GOBS of little dreams that are all evaporated, but some that       remain include:              The flush:              The dreamer was called in to "the big bathroom" by his elderly mother, who was       pointing to a turd floating upright in the center of the bowl, apparently with       the understanding that the turd would not go down. The dreamer indicated to       her to flush the        toilet. After a brief moment, the dreamer made a circling motion with his       right forefinger in the air, then the turd indeed went down the bowl.              The toilet in the closet:              In another toilet-bowl-related dream, the dreamer was in a bedroom of sorts,       very similar to the mobile home where I used to live at 3050 Asbury Lane.        Along the SW corner of the structure there was a narrow, long closet (as in       real life) but in the        dream, there was a toilet bowl in the far corner, with the back of the fixture       along the eastern wall. The dreamer was having a kind of moment of recall,       such as "Ah yes, I remember this being here— I'd nearly forgotten about it"       —although that was        not expressly *spoken* during the dream. As the dreamer went to investigate       it, the back tank lid appeared to be off, and there were sheets of toilet       paper strewn about the entire fixture. Not a *lot*, but enough to cause it to       appear *very* shabby.        The dreamer cleaned up a piece or two, as if dropping them into the bowl in       order to be flushed away. There was something about the bowl itself that was       askew, as if it had been somehow turned, causing the internal tank mechanisms       to all be at a slight        angle. The dreamer straightened the whole thing, causing the parts to align       properly, although a leak became audible as if the straightening had lessened       some stretched (previously) water-tight seal. It is unclear as to whether or       not the leak became        tight again as the dream ended, but the dreamer was definitely chastising the       female (who much resembled Joyce) about her careless (messy) practices which       had caused the problem in the first place.              The kitten:              In a short dream segment before waking, the dreamer had scooped up a small       kitten and was stroking it while holding it to his chest / solar plexus /       beneath his chin. I say "his" in this because the dreamer "felt" so much like       myself. I've not held a        kitten in real life in quite some years by now, but this kitten was clearly       purring, and it felt good to be holding a kitten again, as the dream ended.              12:14 PM 12/3/2020              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
