From: dicksilk@gmail.com              12:42 PM 1/3/2021 Morning writing exercises:              Baby bombadier?       The dreamer was walking just outside of a narrow sidewalk running alongside a       building on its left, a sidewalk with a kind of restraining rail to protect       pedestrians from the street, not unlike an estate-type variation of a horse       fence (bottom straight        slat, criss-crossed mid-slats, straight top slat, perhaps with a top [flat]       rail) and yet the dreamer was no ON the sidewalk, but walking forward along       the left side of the street (as if headed north.) For no apparent reason, a       toddler-sized baby comes        through the fence crosses and bounces against the dreamer's legs, which was       something of an enlightening surprise / moment of joy to the dreamer. Any       *reason* for why this baby should be bombed through was unapparent, however,       the child's hands, arms,        and legs worked very proactively in the sense of climbing / bouncing between       various objects, such as the sidewalk and the building. There was *likely*       some transition such that the dreamer managed to direct the infant onto the       sidewalk, but that's        simply something that has to be inferred, as it is not clearly recalled       exactly how and with what the toddler was "bouncing around."              In a somewhat more placid dream, the dreamer is at a section of Scottland       drive that runs between the intersection with Greenland Drive (to the south)       and the T-intersection with Whitehall (to the north-east.) However, due to my       childhood lifetime (IRL)        in the neighborhood, Greenland is always perceived as "up the street" because       the neighborhood was originally a closed-loop, and the north end of Scottland       was seen as "down the street" because it literally slopes downhill for the       last 3 or 4 houses        where it dead-ends. However, in the dream, the dreamer is at a section of the       street which is normally only accessed via bicycle (in my youth) or by car       (later in life) (IRL) because, even as a child, the only reason I would ever       walk along that part of        the road would be to turn right on Greenland to go to school, but even then,       I'd almost always prefer walking across the field (the hypoteneuse) thus       bypassing that section of the street. So being stationary in that section of       the street in the dream        was a bit unusual, to say the least, if not actually a unique dream segment.        In this portion of the street, the dreamer is examining a scattered amount of       debris in the road, at least one item of which appears to be a half-smushed,       dark green frog, the        upper half pointing as if ready to leap eastward across the street, with the       rear half appearing smushed as if by a passing car. Of course, seeing as how       this was only a clarity 8, maybe 8+, the rear end of the frog *could* have       simply been poised in a        typical frog squat, preparing to jump. The frog was only perhaps 2" in size       anyways, and as such the dreamer was a bit more interested in why there were       various items of debris scattered around that section of the road.              17:43 PM 1/3/2021 due to various interruptions in today's "routine," the rest       of the dreams from last night have "evaporated."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
