From: dicksilk@gmail.com              13:03 PM 1/24/2021              Trip through town / observing stop signs / narrow alley / carrying stuffed toy       / trying to give-sell-donate wheeled walker / picking through spoils (stuff)       w/Sheryl / no friends:              Right. So my dream life has become WAY fuller than my waking life as far as       activity is concerned. I wake up often feeling tired from all the night's       activities. But here goes:              The dreamer was driving through town, observing stop signs (which is VERY       unusual for me in a dream, but there it was!) and it seemed that possibly a       "wrong turn" may have been made, or an extra block traveled, such that the       dreamer got out of the car to        manually go look at street signs in order to get a proper perspective.        (That's a "last ditch" technique I developed while delivering pizzas IRL for       20 years, but only had to use it once or twice.) The location appeared to be       an older section near town        center, the kind of "older" where buildings were mostly made of wood with       brick and glass fronts along paved sidewalks. There was a "narrow" alley       between the building the dreamer was about to exit, and another building on       the same street (but across        the alley.) Something went *WHOOSH!* right out of the alley and into the       street, although the dreamer did not see where it went nor what (if anything)       happened to it, but examining the *VERY* narrow alley, it appeared nothing       much wider than a 3-wheeled        motorcycle (possibly a 2-wheeled with a side-car) could've gotten through       there that fast. Clarity 8+, nearly 9-, even possibly 9 in places.              In another scene which felt "part of" the preceding section, the dreamer was       approaching the car while holding something akin to a stuffed animal toy with       a handle across its long back. It felt as if this toy were being brought into       the car to give the        dog *inside* the car something to play with. Clarity 7+.              In what seemed a "different" dream, the dreamer was attempting to drop off /       give away / abandon a 4-wheeled walker (which looked *exactly* like the kind       my mother currently uses on her creakier days) the kind with two handles and a       small seat, as the        location was the house garage at the northernmost end of Scottland Drive, on       the east side of the street. The area looked as if it were the drop-off site       for an upcoming rummage sale, or possibly the end result of hoarding / dumping       over several years.        There was the option-zone, if you will, of discussion regarding [should the       walker be simply abandoned there? donated to charity? sold online? given to an       old folks home?] and there appeared to be a female there with the dreamer,       Sheryl (a former        housemate from years past, in real life) with whom I had the experience (in       real life) of helping vacate at least three previous sites (again, in real       life) where she'd let "stuff" accumulate around her. So I expect this dream       section had a great deal        to do with a) the collection of material objects and b) the dispensation of       material objects. Clarity 9- to 8 as well.              That dream ended with a conversation which transitioned into the stage of       waking up for the morning, in which the dreamer was having a conversation with       Sheryl, where Sheryl was explaining to the dreamer why the dreamer has no       friends. (I can only hind-       sight this as being due to a general rejection of materialism.)              13:23 PM 1/24/2021              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
