Sure, it's "only a dream" and sure, "it's a free world," *but* in today's
socio-political climate, a "left turn" reflects taking a "progressive"
   direction, turning *away from* the
center. I can only *suspect* that the "white" vehicle headed directly toward
you represents the upcoming / up-swelling "Spiritual Revival" that will soon
be replacing the "woke culture" which has been assaulting us all on a daily
   basis over the past year+
   .

   dream was the fear.

I certainly understand "fear"— I had an episode as recently as 2011-2013
(can't seem to be more specific, sorry, but I *do* recall it was a pervasive
fear, almost as if living in a *cloud* of impending doom) but managed to
   "breathe through it" using a
technique perhaps first encountered in my youth, during dreams of traveling
"under water"— in those dreams, I imagined myself as simply taking "only
shallow breaths" as a way of recycling air "trapped in a pocket" just below my
   mouth (I was typically
traveling in a lateral direction, as if I were a fish in forward motion.) In
those dreams, I managed to get some distance using this "underwater breathing
technique" which seemed effective in those years / in those instances.
   Decades later, dealing
with overriding feelings of impending doom, I instead chose to "breath through
it" which is basically just "focusing on one's breathing," sort of an "adult
version" of the underwater dream breathing method. The idea being, as long as
   I was thinking
about my breathing, I was NOT thinking about whatever it was that was causing
such waves of impending, unavoidable "doom." As a result, in the real world,
I was able to reach a point in time at which the feeling of "doom" was no
   longer present, and the
fear seemed to evaporate along with it.

I've since "shortened" / abbreviated this entire technique simply by
meditating on what Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:44, "Love thine enemies,"
starting *first* with my own, *greatest* enemy, Myself! (One is always one's
   own, greatest enemy.) I've found
this "love-based" solution to be *incredibly* effective! (Instantaneous,
actually!) The moment one loves one's inner enemy, the instant one becomes
   "enlightened" rather than "afraid."

Can this technique be applied *during* a dream? Well, I've been able to do so
at least *once*, back when my book was being submitted through the publishing
layer during which a publisher / printer *might* have stated an objection. In
   that dream, some
Greek (possibly Arabic?) looking fellow was addressing me (the dreamer)
directly, at which point, the dreamer chose to "love" oneself so that one may
love others *without* hypocrisy, and the feeling was one of elevation as the
   dream ended, as if the
dream itself were like a "bubble universe" and that entire bubble was
ascending, as I returned to the conscious, waking state. Meanwhile, I attempt
to use this "logic" in most every online conversation I have, *especially*
   when dealing with
conversations relating to religion and/or politics (social behavior.) As a
result, I presently have 299 "followers," over 1.1 million "content views",
with "49.3K this month." So it looks like it must have at least *some*
   positive benefit! √
