   Trip across field to "island/zone surrounded by water":   
   First dream of recall for the evening involved the dreamer traveling as if by   
   land (moving in a linear fashion over an open field) somehow through a fence   
   (roughly 4"x3" grid-wire?) that practically wasn't even there, to arrive at an   
   area somewhat like a    
   domed entrance with an open facing such that an individual might go forward   
   into a structure that led "deeper inside" but that would likely be downward,   
   below ground.  In 20/20 hindsight, this was *highly* Freudian, as the dome /   
   opening "structure"    
   could *well* symbolize a clitoris, and the passage "inside" / likely down into   
   the earth could well represent the travel of the sperm inside the womb,   
   Fallopian tubes, etc.  However, for the time being, the dreamer was merely   
   approaching the entrance    
   when there was this *moat* (for lack of a better word?  it seemed like fresh   
   ocean water!) around the front portion of the landing area.  A guy who had   
   apparently been alongside the dreamer *jumped* into the water, as it *did*   
   look refreshing!— but the    
   dreamer surveyed the scene a bit more, and as far as I can recall, did not go   
   across the water, or onto the landing, or inside the structure, although there   
   certainly was interest / curiosity in doing so!  End of dream, clarity pure 7+   
   most likely, but    
   it was a well-lit (daytime) scene, and could well have been an 8+ in clarity   
   if it were not so symbolic (Freudian in hindsight) in nature.

   Train tracks / crank-operated switch / snake-link:   
   There were train tracks and apparently a train was coming, and there was a   
   need to *hand-crank* a switch (not "throw" as in a lever, but "crank" as in a   
   wheel with a spindle on the perimeter) to swing the tracks from result A to   
   result B (due to the    
   directions involved, including the direction of the train, it is exceptionally   
   UNclear as to whether the switch was from left-to-right or right-to-left, but   
   from A to B is the most accurate description I can give) (in recalling the   
   dream, it seems as if    
   it could easily have been perceived from a "unified consciousness" as in male   
   AND female, so that could explain the dual interpretation / hindsight   
   perception) allowing the train to pass safely / without incident, yet the   
   concern at this point was to    
   UNcrank the switch, and that seemed to lead to a complication (see snake-link   
   description) which ended in an end-of-dream situation.  Clarity 8-ish,   
   possibly a "dual-8":  Imagine for a moment seeing ONE event yet from TWO   
   perspectives:  I've had *some*    
   experience with this dream-phenomenon before, so I'm not just "making this up   
   on the fly."    
      
   Ah yes, the snake-link:  there was a portion of the dream where two sections   
   of "rail" needed to be "linked" in such a way that they would not uncouple /   
   separate.  The rails became / were as snakes, such that the head of one rail   
   fed through a hole in    
   the bottom of the rail above it, and from there the head of the lower snake   
   "snugged" (almost "bit") into the tail of the one into which it had been   
   inserted, forming a pull-tight type of link.  The dreamer was very interested   
   in a closer study, possibly    
   to repeat the process with two more rails in order to get a better "look", but   
   that was likely the "complication" mentioned above which caused the "End of   
   dream" (EoD) to occur.  Likely more clarity 7 (symbolism.)   
      
   10:14 AM 4/22/2021 Dog (?)-rabbit(?) front legs/wheels conversion:   
   This dream was "discomforting" to experience.  This is possibly the first   
   viscerally upsetting dream I've ever had, or at least that I can recall at the   
   moment.  And at my age, that's saying something!  (I turn 60 in July)— at   
   any rate, there was a    
   mostly-white dog, medium-sized (slightly smaller than a Labrador) that   
   appeared *somehow related* to the railroad / train dream.  The dog appeared   
   somehow injured, front leg(s) as if unable to pull the train (or a load.)  A   
   female vet appeared, similar    
   to Ruth Gates, the late "mother of assisted evolution"   
   (daily.jstor.org/remembering-coral-conservationist-ruth-gates)   
   who was there to aid / assist the critter.  What happened next was—   
   unpleasant to watch, to put it mildly— so the dreamer "turned his back to   
   the scene" (roughly a 135°-turn counter-clockwise, as it were.)  The "vet" /   
   assistant seemed to indicate    
   the critter had been given an anesthetic, but the dialogue here was unclear at   
   best, likely just mental communication of thought / ideas.  At any rate, it   
   seemed as if she took a pair of hedge clippers to remove the critter's two   
   front legs at just above    
   the knee-joints, and replaced them or "grafted onto" them a pair of struts   
   with wheels, formed as a single strut with wheels on both sides on the lower   
   ends.  The critter now seemed more like a rabbit, and the front struts /   
   wheels assembly seemed    
   perfect for allowing the critter to be positioned *ahead of* any train (or   
   load) and pull it using the critters hind legs for propulsion, and the front   
   legs/wheels/strut assembly for just rolling along on the rails.  It seemed   
   "elegant!" in the mind of    
   the dreamer, yet the process of snipping the dog's front legs was horrendous /   
   gut-wrenching / traumatic.  The dreamer had a bit of awe-like respect for the   
   vet who must've done this on a regular basis, 'cause she seemed very much like   
   an "old pro" at    
   this kind of stuff.  EoD, VERY symbolic, most likely, but let's go with 8   
   overall clarity as it seemed somehow connected with the train / crank /   
   snakes-rail dream.   
      
   10:28 AM 4/22/2021 Job supervisor?   
   There was a dream wherein the dreamer felt as if (he) had been assigned a   
   position of "getting something done" / processed, a feeling very much like   
   data processing:  having a stream of incoming work load that simply needs   
   "processed" / through-put.     
   However, the dreamer felt as if to be in need of instruction, such as "will   
   someone show me how to do this?" but rather than a request, which would likely   
   have been answered, it was more of a feeling of frustration, such as "Who's   
   gonna show" or "Isn't    
   someone gonna explain"?— the "stuckness" of the situation seemed squarely   
   within the mind of the dreamer.  There had been a female supervisor, again,   
   similar in appearance to the Ruth Gates character in the previous dream (I   
   *suspect* this was the    
   result of watching a PBS special on reef rescue last night) but she had more   
   of a "Gina-like" feel/appearance to her this time.  Clarity 8- due to the   
   frustration feeling of not-knowing what to do / what was expected.
