Had a BUSY day today! (Got a battery-powered HART reciprocating saw to take
down tree branches, but....) Got a "jig saw" (has a short, maybe 4" or 5"
blade) as a means of sawing down a few tree branches that overhung the roof
   and the garage. The tiny
blade was a bit underpowered for the task, and the batteries seemed to be
unable to last long under the work load. For a "jig saw," I'm sure it's
awesome, but for tree branches, "nicht so gut!" FORTUNATELY, my neighbor and
   his son voluntarily chipped
in with their ginormous extension ladder and chain saw, and while they got
down the big stuff, and asked for some of the dropped limbs for firewood, I
hauled away the skinny branches and such to make a pile out by the curb for
the city folk to haul away.
PLUS a plumber crew stopped by to help with a situation that seems to involve
replacing ALL the cast iron sewage pipes from beneath the house.... NOT fun.
The main thing is, the *interesting* dream I had this morning had to wait
   until now (23:04 8/17/
2021) to get written up, which sorta defeats the purpose of posting in the
morning (to get an authenticated time stamp to predate any actual events.)

The dream was "interesting" in that I ("the dreamer") was looking at someone
looking at me ("the dreamer"/the camera perspective): the face looked a *bit*
like "Andy of Mayberry" (maybe 30s or so?) but then reminded me a bit of an
   older Ron Howard (
maybe 50s or 60s?) with a generally reddish tint to his hair. As I looked, he
ALSO bore a resemblance to my father, and thus, to me as well. While I was
trying to get a "bead" on his appearance, he seemed to age into his 70s, and
   his head began to show
a "wrinkly" appearance. About this time, "I" *cradled* his head in my hands,
only "I" was without form or image, merely "dark energy" as if simply form
   without any borders of appearance.

When I awoke from this *odd* dream, I had the impression that whatever form
I'd been in was cradling that old person's head as if it were a baby. I'd
also "felt" the wrinkles in the skin of his skull, although the dream was
   ending and "I" was returning
to "waking consciousness," so whatever actually happened at the end was
certainly "unclear," other than a residual "friendly feeling" as if I'd been
chatting with Andy Griffith OR Ron Howard OR someone who looked a *bit* like
my dad (in a family way,
   also a bit like myself.)

Then I get the news (in real life) later this morning: my neice, Lyndsey, was
having / about to have her baby. I told my mother, "It's gonna be a boy."
She later informs me that Lyndsey had a baby boy. She later informed me that
   Lyndsey and her
spouse (also a female) named the child "Logan" which also happens to be the
name of my 2nd son, although there is certainly reason to suspect that Lyndsey
may have never known this little factoid. As far as I know, the sperm donor
   was anonymous, but I'm
still suspecting that Logan will look a bit like Andy, Opie, my dad and myself
(because Lyndsey's maternal grandfather is my dad, and the child has Lyndsey's
   DNA plus the sperm donor's.)
