From: dicksilk@gmail.com              01/22 /22 or 22/1/22, Saturday (a semi-palindromic date):              I had a pancake with maple syrup on it this morning, and even though I went       *light* on the syrup, I still had a kind of sugar-dizziness (not from       diabetes, but from my brain damage that affects my sense of balance) so I went       back to sleep to take a "       morning nap" to "sleep it off" as it were.              As a result, I had an *interesting* dream wherein the dreamer was out in the       back yard on Scottland Drive (which opens onto the field of Reeves-Rogers)       which had floating up high over the center a hot air balloon with a basket       (gondola?) underneath        containing at least 3 people (which I could make out as faces in the basket       under the balloon) where upon the dreamer, who had a bow and arrow, took a       shot at the balloon (knowing it was too high or out of reach of the arrow, but       doing it in jest) which        seemed to result in the notice of at least one person (guy) to the dreamer's       left (south) and the sense that others were paying attention as well, as if       monitoring the dreamer, who had a sudden suspicion that they might have been       sent to "attack" the        dreamer, who remarked aloud to the people in the basket, that there's       obviously no way that the arrow could ever reach the basket, yet the dreamer       took aim and sent another arrow just for fun, as if to prove the point, so to       speak, yet the arrow still        failed to reach the balloon or the basket of people.              Now the attention was on the person(s) in the neighbor's yard to the south,       along with at least one (black) dog in the neighbor's yard to the north (as if       the dog were possibly a part of the team being sent to investigate the dreamer       for shooting arrows.)              It just so happens that my OWN dog (IRL) was there in the dream, which the       dreamer attempted to alert to the presence of others, thinking she would at       *least* alert to the presence of the dog to the north.              It just so happens that in real life, the neighbor's dog to the south is       friendly, and in the dream was somehow being coaxed or otherwise encouraged by       the dreamer, although the retelling of this dream gets a bit dream-weird:        it's as if the black dog to        the north was the same as the neighbor's dog to the south, with the friendly       southern black dog being encouraged to address the nearly identical dog to the       north. And all the while, the dreamer was a bit curious as to why his *own*       dog (my dog in real        life) was ignoring all of this, as if there was no "cause for alert" nearby       whatsoever. Clarity 8, but confusing.              I *suspect* the people in the balloon could *possibly* represent people online       from "real life" as it were, likely atheists in an online group on Quora, but       that's *purely* speculative.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
