   22-2-22 on Tuesday? C'mon.........!

At any rate, there was this one scene where the dreamer was outdoors in a
grassy field-like area, *possibly* near a stream (either a creek or the
upstream fork of a river?)— although I cannot recall a specific "view" of a
   stream in this scene, there
was definitely the "feel" of one.

In some areas, the land on the banks of a stream may end up carving its way
through rocks, forming cliffs or a dropoff of sorts (consider the Grand Canyon
as an *extreme* example, the White Cliffs of Dover as a *moderate* example.)
   Or, alternatively, it
may be a simple, gradual, "gentle, grassy" slope, such as in this case, of
   perhaps less than 10°.

For the purpose of orientation, let's say the stream is running (*roughly*)
south to north, and the action is taking place on the left (west) side of the
stream. For those who think rivers always run north to south (like the
   Mississippi) such is a pure
myth. If I'm not mistaken, the Nile runs south to north, and specifically,
FOR A FACT, the Stones River that runs through Murfreesboro (IRL) runs
(roughly) south to north on its journey into Percy Priest Lake (in Davidson
   County / Nashville.)

The preceding action in the dream is utterly vague, like it just evaporated
due to the very focused nature of what happened next. It *could* be that the
dreamer had been out running after or chasing a dog, as if the dog simply
   wasn't obeying a command
to "come," but instead was "off on a tear" [rhymes with "hair"] which brings
   us to the dream's "focus":

As the dog (this time, memorable as an element within the dream) ran off
(inland, WNW) the dreamer saw a cotton tail rabbit (female, a "doe," one could
easily assume) sitting motionless on the ground, facing the dreamer (also
   facing where the stream
would be, IF there were one, which was never really established) with her
beautiful, long ears laid flat back across her neck and body. The dreamer had
this brief moment of pondering why the rabbit hadn't simply run off, which is
   what would normally
have occurred if a human had suddenly come upon this situation IRL. Rabbits
do have a bit of an issue seeing *directly* ahead, as their eyes are on the
SIDES of their heads (like horses) so the dreamer *could possibly* have
   approached from her "blind
   spot."

There was this interplay of thought (from the rabbit's perspective with
respect to the dreamer's) regarding possible fear / remaining still so as to
remain unobserved / or fleeing for one's life. The dreamer felt that, as long
   as this opportunity
presented itself, [he?] would reach out (calmly, peacefully) to pet the
rabbit. The idea was to stroke back over the head and ears, along the body,
but as the dreamer's right hand neared the rabbit, it turned her head leftward
   to move away. The dreamer
ended up only stroking the rabbit from behind her ears (as her ears had lifted
as she turned her head) thus stroking the hair along (her) body as she moved
away. The dreamer knows that chasing an adult rabbit in the open is pure
   idiocy. Even *baby*
rabbits are *difficult* to catch (bare handed) if they're of *any* hopping
   ability.

It occurred to the dreamer that the rabbit *could* have been a mother, sitting
over her nest of baby rabbits, which is how the mothers nurse their babies in
the morning and evening (this being a daytime scene.) So the dreamer looked
   straight down into
the grass where the rabbit (doe) had been sitting, and sure enough, there were
at *least* 3 (possibly 4 to 5) baby rabbit faces looking upward.

The thought that went through the dreamer's mind was, "I sure hope a dog
doesn't find them." (Baby rabbits in their nest make for tasty dog snacks on
   occasion, IRL.)

The start of the dream was roughly a 6 (as I can't even recall IF there were a
dog or not, *prior* to having seen the dog run off, although there seemed to
have been) while the rabbits MAY have been symbolic (7) yet the touching of
the doe was at 9+ (in
real life, the dreamer would likely have NEVER gotten close enough to touch
her, although I have stroked rabbits before IRL, and the action/sensation was
VERY much like such a memory) and the view of the baby rabbits was simply
   "precious." >:-)

   The Gas Station:

In another dream, rather different by comparison, the action involved two
vehicles at a gas station. The problem here is that the "focal point of the
dreamer's consciousness" is questionable. As I sit here journaling the dream,
I'm unable to say if "I"
was either the driver with the trailer ("DWT") OR the driver of the SUV
("SUV") so let's just write this from the "omniscient narrator" perspective:

SUV was approaching a gas pump in a vehicle that apparently had the fuel cap
on the right rear. DWT was approaching from the opposite (head on) position,
and let's assume that vehicle's fuel cap was on the left (driver's) side.

For at least ONE moment, the driver with the fuel cap on the right (passenger)
side was in the SUV, and *felt* as if "I got here first" thus had the "right
of way" to the gas pump. And yet, the OTHER vehicle (DWT) who *could* have
   backed up and gone
over one lane closer to the central hub of the station (where people pay their
bill in cash) would have had the more laborious (and RISKY) job of backing up
in order to get to another pump. Also, *reversing* direction so as to bring
   the driver's (left)
side cap up to the opposite side of the pump would have been VERY risky /
dangerous / difficult! Stretching a hose far enough to reach an opposite-side
lead-pipe is *very* questionable, at best.
SUV felt a sense of "do unto others" so as to back up to allow DWT to come in
more easily, as SUV had a MUCH greater range of motion / options available.

However, as SUV was "backing up" to give DWT the "golfer's honor" of coming
into the pump first, DWT *also* was backing up, so as to indicate the honor
went to SUV, who was closer and apparently had "first dibs" on the pump.

At this point, the "dreamer's perspective" gets a bit nebulous (was the
dreamer in the SUV or the driver with trailer?) and the dream ends, clarity
"awkward." (Incidentally, this situation puts me in mind of the FIRST
   Commandment, biblehub.com/exodus/20-
   3.htm )
