From: dicksilk@gmail.com              Had an odd little dream segment that *felt* like it was inside a Synagogue       (something of which I've never been in during this present incarnation)       wherein a particular word (POSSIBLY biblehub.com/hebrew/4687.htm       “מִצְוָה, mitsvah” (code of        wisdom)) was being discussed / possibly debated. Someone (a guy, perhaps in       his 30s–50s?) took the dreamer by the hand and proceeded to "run around" the       inner perimeter of the synagogue. The dreamer had the impression that the guy       wanted to "show"        something to the dreamer, but during the trip around the inside of the       Sanctuary (inner gathering area for congregants?) the dreamer had a thought as       to "why do this?" and the dream ended. Clarity 8- -ish.              There was perhaps another dream which I *thought* I was going to remember upon       waking, however, shortly after getting up I found myself unable to pick       anything out of it whatsoever, so *unless* it was something in regards to that       Synagogue Spin (       mentioned above) I have no idea what it may have been about.              The dream before waking (around 8:30-ish AM) was rather involved. I remember       that the continuity of the dream was rather good with respect to action /       consequence / next action / consequence, etc.— However, I'm a tad bit fuzzy       AFTER waking as to many        of the more specific elements, but here's a bit of the plot, regardless:              Picking up the story where a vehicle is involved, the dreamer recalls the       driver's (left side) door didn't *latch* shut, BUT, by using the electric       LOCK, the lock itself held the door shut while moving. The dreamer was       searching for a place to park        outside a building (possibly an arena or complex of some sort) but as there       appeared to be *some* level of urgency to the situation, the dreamer       rationalized that "after all, I *am* a doctor" (or someone in the medical       profession) "and this *is* a        medical situation" as there was someone inside the dreamer was supposed to       find and retrieve for some reason.              The dreamer did in fact return to the car but started out looking into the       general parking lot, then remembering that the vehicle had been parked       alongside a narrow side of the building (similar to where staff might park.)        Sure enough, the car was still        there (had not been towed) and the other person (whomever it was the dreamer       went to get) sat in the front (right) passenger's seat, which apparently       closed properly as it was not nearly as used as the driver's side door.              There was again another issue with the driver attempting to get the door to       shut and finding one of those silvery-metallic lock levers (possibly from the       '50s or '60s?) where there's a spot of about ½" square in the armrest (or       below it somehow) with a        semi-cylindrical "hump" that toggles forward (or UP) (to unlock) and backward       (or down) (to lock) to activate the lock-knob that sticks up from the side       panel that abuts the base area of the window. The driver toggled the lever       down in order to lock the        door, and although there was not too much confidence in the door, the       dreamer/driver returned mental focus to getting out of the parking lot, and       began by backing up, then pulling *some* kind of nearly 270° re       erse-directional "swirl" in order to        position the vehicle to drive forward out of the parking lot.              There was some sentence spoken by the dreamer regarding the effect of rapidly       swirling the car around, something like "I normally don't do / drive like       this, but this is an emergency." The effect of the swirl was akin to "driving       by faith" without any        clear image as to what was surrounding the moving vehicle. However, as soon       as the car began to drive forward, the dreamer took one look around for       traffic then the dream ended. Originally clarity 9, but after waking, more       like 8-.              NOTE: I'm having some type of memory of that evaporated dream, at least a       single visual element: the dreamer was looking at "himself" in a mirror, and       noted that the guy looked a LOT like me, but clearly younger, perhaps 20s?       with a lighter colored        hair, more toward the blonder side. It also appeared a bit "thicker" than I       wore my hair (which IRL was SO thick I actually had the barbers "thin it out"       whenever I went to the barber shop!) and IF I'm not mistaken, the guy had a       small mustache (as        there was *some* kind of something under his nose.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
