Some of them were hilarious! :-)              Either way, it helped me learn how to "reply in-line" (such as is being done       in this reply).              Later, "Outlook Express" served as a "news reader" but *most* news servers       were pay to play. There were (are?) very few "free" news servers anymore. (I       haven't looked in years.) Google Groups seems to have *absorbed* USENET to a       major degree.              KG:> "The whole message was wrapped in a PGP signature by Emacs. I used that LONG ago in the AOL       era, but not for *ages* since AOL sorta "went away." It *used* to be my       listing in the phone book :-)              > The only other        > reflection is really just the overbearing sense of dread I had about        > what was going on. RUN away, if possible! The time is       coming (and for the most part is already here) where conservatives will start       to be viewed as "open        season" by the criminal left who will criminally use guns, even in the most       anti-2nd Amendment areas of the country (anti-gun locations in the world.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
