From: dicksilk@gmail.com              Well, this *would've* been my late Father's 92nd birthday today, so "Happy       Birthday, Dad!" 👠             Meanwhile, the only significant *dream* I had, that I can recall, involved the       dreamer out delivering a *slice* of cake in a pizza box— In the dream, the       dreamer was driving a vehicle along something *akin* to Greenland Drive,       *perhaps* east of        Scottland Drive (heading away from the center of town) yet west of Park Manor,       turning south onto a street named "Courtland" (or "Courtyard"?) in the dream.        (IRL, the somewhat "newer" street in that area has a different name, entirely,       and the "real        life Courtland" is over on the west side of where TN Blvd intersects with       Greenland, running south off Greenland.)              At any rate, the dreamer / driver is having a bit of an uncertainty issue       regarding the street name he's supposed to be on (fairly sure this was a       version of myself as the dreamer) and, in what may have been an attempt to go       to a door, ended up on foot,        still looking for *any* street name (and was in need of double-checking the       name listed on the box with the name on the street sign, etc.) but had the       general impression of being in the right neighborhood, nonetheless.              There were at least 2 or 3 or more people standing around, at least two males,       somewhere in the ages of 20-40 (somewhat guessing on that upper limit, as they       weren't *closely* observed for physical characteristics) and the       dreamer-driver was in an "ask        for direction" type mode that drivers sometimes rely upon: when in doubt, ask       the locals for direction. I know, it's not something a guy would normally do,       but as a driver who's often "on the clock" or "under the gun" so to speak, it       is a valid way of        finding the address faster.              There was the passing thought that one of the pedestrians (bystanders) might       have been consulting a smartphone app (map) for directions. It also occurred       to the dreamer that it might be possible to call the recipient (customer /       client / delivery target)        for directions, but that is often a "last tactic" before calling the store to       "return the pie," as they say in the pizza business. Plus, even using a       "stupid" (simple-feature) flip phone (4G) these days can also produce GPS-type       guided directions to a        destination.              At one point *prior* to getting out of the vehicle, the dreamer did get a look       at the inside of the box, and while there was a question in the dreamer's mind       as to why would someone order a single slice of pizza; the visual item in the       box was a standard-       large sized piece of chocolate cake, roughly 2½"x3½" (x2½" tall, maybe 3"       including the chocolate icing.)              The dreamer was getting back into the vehicle to begin the double-checking       everything procedure when the dream ended, visually a clarity 8+, while       mentally around an 8-, possibly even in the 6+ range.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
