   unless there are still
unresolved issues that we never worked out. There is [always] the next
   lifetime(reincarnation).

Hmmm... so the riding the cloth log gives me the *impression* much like riding
a horse: a manner of conveyance, only in this case, the log has zero
intelligence. Such a device would likely only move in conjunction with a flow
   of the surrounding media (
like how a paper airplane will sail farther when one throws it *with* the
   wind.)

So just out of curiosity, and this comes mainly from a male/female difference
in perspective, does the female (or at least in this case, yourself) prefer to
avoid mindless motion? Like, even a roller-coaster has an "order" in its
   direction, in that it
stays *on* the track and follows the track itself. But a motion with zero
obvious flow? I can see how that *might* be disconcerting. Just curious.

Another thought: *what -IF-* the engineer had been foreign? (Like Spanish,
for instance) and his concept of "rain fall upon the roof" may have come
across "in translation" as [water falling on the roof]? (This sounds like the
   best "logical"
possibility to me. I've had a bit of years trying to reason out some specific
points / turns of phrase within some dream experiences.)

As to any unresolved issues, let those "go with him." You fairly well
resolved *all* of those issues when he divorced you / you divorced him. His
issues are no longer *any* of your issues, which raises the question, are
   there any issues *you personally*
would like to work on? If so, what might you do to address them? As to any
possibility of "next incarnation," why pre-load a child with unresolved issues
   from your adult present?

Consider: "NOW is" the *consequence* of ALL past *and* the *cause* of ALL
future. (Just something to think about.)

Meanwhile, I had a real "kicker" of a dream myself this morning. Haven't had
one of those in a *while!* Will be writing it up shortly.
