2023/02/19 Sunday: 'Possum Tactic & Visi
   19 Feb 23 11:53:32

   From: dicksilk@gmail.com

The first dream sequence was a bit long, and rather than risk loosing too much
of it to "evaporation," I actually made an audio recording on my stupid phone
so as to aid the journaling of the events.

Later, I had something that could be described as a "'guided journey" of sorts
on a visit (allegorically) to hell itself, or at least some aspect of it (on
some plane of perception, so to speak.)

So while the "Possum Tactics" dream was 9 to 10, the "Visit in Hell" section
(which *may well* have been some form of "astral / out of body" experience)
was at time 11 (definitely of some type of "spiritual" / "reality-based"
   experience.)

   Possum Tactics:

The dreamer was as a POW, working like in a shop area, akin to the
Reeves-Rogers school gymnasium, possibly organizing things? possibly with a
reward system in place where workers could take as many burgers in
burger-sized boxes (out on a counter) etc.
Some one took a few, while the dreamer passed on them.

The dreamer was in a room wherein there was a rusty, coat-hanger-type wire
(with a loop at the bottom end, but it's broken) such that it still protrudes
as a pair of (stiff) wires, perhaps for weather reporting so that the area
might be bombed by the [
   allied forces.]

There's another segment where the dreamer is walking around (perhaps as if
patrolling) the outside of the building (again, much like RR school, like out
on the eastern side / playground area) where there are two German Shepherds:
   One of the dogs comes
toward the dreamer, but the dreamer uses / *feels* something like animal
friendship to greet the dog, and there's no problem. A few yards away from
that is a second German Shepherd, but on a chain or leash, and the dreamer
   approaches that dog with right
hand outstretched, palm down, and it's as if the dog's jaws are too small,
such that it cannot get a bite, and sort of yaps upon the back of the hand (if
you've ever addressed a defensive Yorkie or such, you may get what I mean
   here) but the dog
eventually gives up and the dreamer befriends the second dog as well.

Next, the dreamer walks around the building (like the north/NW corner) and
there are numbers and/or letters up on the side as if they were for
date-of-construction or area-marking or something. The numbers / letters were
   steady, yet no "meaning" was
derived from them that could be understood within the dream.

There's yet another segment wherein the dreamer is as if leading other
captives toward freedom. For some reason, the dreamer ends up on the floor,
looking up at the ceiling, perhaps "playing dead" from an area attack of some
   kind. The ceiling has at
its top a box-like structure, similar to a hexagonal honeycomb, yet square,
and as if with cardboard *something* stuffed in each one.

There begins a noise, similar to "boom-boompity-boom-boom boom boom boom" or
such, and a few guards come out because of the noise, and a guard-type comes
over to the dreamer (who's "playing possum") and the guard is verbally
   suggesting prodding or doing
something to the dreamer's body just to make sure it's dead. Nothing horrid,
but there was at one moment a point prodded (a bit duller than a ball-point
pen) yet there was no pain whatsoever. (The dreamer's eyes were basically,
   lightly shut during this
   process.)

The dreamer's body is "taken out" as if to put on a (flatbed) truck or
something, as if to take out to dump or dispose of in some manner, and the
view appears to be similar to heading up US-41 N (toward Smyrna, from
   Murfreesboro, viewing to the east.)

This transport goes past a female who has something of a gasp reaction like:
"Oh! is dead!" I think this is where this segment comes in,
where I accidentally "skipped" while doing the recording, yet remembered right
   after, involving a view
of a (somewhat young, early 20s?) female with medium light-brown hair up in
these HUGE two curlers (one on each side of her head.)

There's a scene then when the guard is about to squat upon or in some manner
"attack or offend" the body of the dreamer, at which the dreamer has sensed
the two of them to be alone, so the dreamer "leaps" into action and (I think)
   uses the legs to wrap
around and take down the other. The dreamer neutralizes the guard as if
holding down various parts of the body *along with* something like placing an
arm across the neck / throat of the other.

It comes to a point where the dreamer has the other's head in a twist (held
tight at the other's neck, of course) and *IN ALL PREVIOUS DREAMS* to this
one, the dreamer never has quite had the follow-through to snap / break the
   other's neck, *but in this
dream,* the dreamer was holding tension upon the other's head / neck-twist,
and feeling a moment of empathy, but there was this type of understanding,
that in order to be free, the dreamer HAD to snap the other's neck, otherwise,
   the other would take the
initiative to kill the dreamer, so the dreamer continued twisting the other's
neck *until* it snapped / went limp, at which point, that dream ended.

During the process of having this dream, there was an occasional (electronic)
"beep" (or "boop") and the dreamer was concerned that one of the guards may
have heard it, but apparently it was ignored. Meanwhile, AFTER waking, I
   discovered that there had
been an AMBER alert on my cell phone, and in order to clear it, I had to
   reboot the phone.

Will post the "Visit in Hell" dream separately.
