From: dicksilk@gmail.com              Catching up on a few dreams from earlier this week, one dream involved the       dreamer as if holding a single "car seat" with a child in it in the left hand,       and *three* seats (all in a row) with the right hand. The 3 acted as if one,       split into 3 elements,        *very* much like vertical blinds: you pull a cord (or spin a hanging rod)       and they *all* swivel identically.              The "car seats" were of the type that are actually like tote baskets: the       child is buckled into the seat, yet the seat itself may be carried apart from       the seat base that remains firmly installed into the back seat of a car.              So the dreamer walks into a room, carrying one in the left, and 3-of-a-kind in       the right, and they all swivel perfectly from "facing forward" in the       direction the dreamer had been traveling, (counter-clockwise?) 180° until       they are all 4 facing the        dreamer.              Dream ends, clarity 8- (not entirely well lit. The boy/girl aspects of the       children were not clearly visible, although the re-telling of this *reminds*       me of Charles (first son, born of Helen, on the left) and the 3 born later       (Logan, Landon, and Alyssa,        born of Joyce, on the right.)              It sort of becomes a clarity 7 *narrative* of 4 kids, as they all appeared "at       the same age" rather than according to the real-life chronology in which they       "appeared" "in the real world."              Another "catch-up" dream involved the dreamer dealing with a young, blondish       girl, perhaps around age 7, that "smarty-age" where their brains begin to       really "sharpen up." She *may* have had blue eyes. This is of interest       because my eldest sister,        Sherry, is the only of the 5 siblings with blue eyes. (Mom's were blue also.        Everyone else was/is brown-eyed or *very* close to it.)              The scene was as if someone had left the girl with the dreamer, not as a baby       sitter for a brief period, but as if simply "left with" the dreamer, and the       dreamer is as if "stuck in something of a quandary," as if "What am I supposed       to do with her/you        now?" This moment of contemplation lasted a good second-plus in dream time,       possibly up to 3+ seconds, enough to allow a small flood of ideas to flow       through the dreamer's mind, but instead of acting on any of them, the dream       ended as he tried to focus        on something educational / constructive / productive. (Any / all "negative" /       destructive ideas were simply "flowing left" thus leaving the neutral/positive       ideas behind, but even then, "What now?")              The reason for bringing this dream to the point of writing about it is because       I have a hunch that the girl *may* represent a type of meld of my eldest       sister (when she was that age) and possibly my (now quite elderly) mother       (who's 92, and *definitely*        in her "second childhood.")              While this dream was somewhere between clarity 7 and 8+ (it was less than       well-lit) it also has a bit of a follow-up with one that I had last night /       this morning:              2023/03/14 Tuesday:       There was an older female, possibly 30s, possibly 40s? who resembled my       sister (Sherry, when she was at those ages) who had a ring *similar* to a       cocktail ring, possibly a wedding ring, something that gave the dreamer the       impression it had been in her        life / family for some time.              (I mention Sherry because, much like the previous dream, the female character       *may* be a type of "representation" of my elderly mother, for reasons that are       about to appear slightly more obvious.)              In real life, Sherry is "her own family" in that she asked to be *removed       from* any proceeds of Mom's will. Nada. She don't need none of it. (She       could possibly use a good tent revival, but that's another issue, and not for       me or anyone else to judge.)        So *could* Sherry have a ring like the one in this dream? Sure. But I       suspect that is *not* the case. I suspect the ring represents something else.              In the dream, the female is as if seated or reclining upon a bed, and looking       at the ring on her hand, when something like a translucent gem just *plops       out* of it and falls to the floor.              The gem *appeared as something like* smoky quartz, yet had the sense of being       valuable as a diamond. It also had a bit of size to it as well, like maybe       ¼"–½" (perhaps a third of an inch?) by ¼"–½", yet rectangular in       shape, slightly taller than        its other two sides. (*Possibly* the size of a .35 Remington (200 grain)       slug?)              The dreamer asked the female to remain in the bed (as I've had various       opportunities to hunt for small objects on the floor IRL, and pretty well know       how to scan for something without disturbing the area) and dropped down to       floor level to look for it.        And while it *should* have been an easy thing to spot and recover, what the       dreamer saw *instead* were various pills of various sizes, similar to what an       octogenarian / nonagenarian would have each morning with breakfast / dinner,       etc.               The dreamer simply returned to an upright position and began pondering whether       the roomba (those round, vacuuming robots that cats like to ride on) would       pick it up, and that its dust / collection bin would need to be *well-scanned*       _daily_ until the        stone was found.              There was also a moment of another thought (as if listening to another radio       station) regarding if the event had happened within a hotel room (or nursing       home?) of some sort, one of the maids would be likely to find it and have       herself a small fortune.        Clarity somewhere between 7 and 9-.              I *suspect* this dream is in reference to the proceeds of my mother's last       will and testament, which is something that *may well be addressed* at *some*       point in the future. Personally, the longer she lives, the longer I have to       focus on "straightening        out" my own thought patterns, and helping others with the same. (I'd *like*       to get my book-editing project finished! I'm publishing it online in       sections, with the *start* of it available at: https://tinyurl.com/Q-DJ-TKC        —each small section "links"        to the next section.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
