into specific lengths in writing, let's just say the room was 100'x100', with
a ceiling that was unobserved, yet seemed perhaps at around 10' high, or
   thereabouts.

visible, yet unremarkable. The dreamer *did* notice an area of the far wall
that looked a bit like it was designed as a window area, sort of like a closet
   with an opening space of
around 4'–6' wide, perhaps 3'-5' in depth, yet where one would normally
expect to see glass, there was instead a dark, shuttered-looking area, as if
wooden in appearance. I remember the dreamer thinking, "A glass window would
   be nice right there—"
although I have no direct memory of what that room was for or about. Clarity
7+ / 8- due to the general lack of direct lighting.

Sorry, just had a recollection pop back into mind of the main action within
the large, open space described in this (above) dream scene:

In the middle of the room was a *long* table, like how a potluck dinner at a
Church will string around 6 to 8 tables to form a continuous line.

On the "food line" were large, round cakes, typical of 3-tier birthday cakes,
all of the same size and shape, yet of differently colored (and textured)
icings (some may have had nuts on the outside, or sprinkles, etc.)

The dreamer sensed the normal desire to select a slice, yet also did not feel
the need to eat, but settled on dipping a right index finger into an upper
edge of the circumference, to get a smidge of a taste, stuck the finger in the
   mouth, and as the
sense of sweet icing began to register, *that* was the end of the dream.

(NOTE: IRL, as a general rule, I avoid sugars (lactose, fructose, sucrose,
dextrose) on a regular basis *so that* on a "rare" occasion, I can take a
sample. This is NOT diabetes related, but rather "dain bramage" related: for
   *some* reason, the
presence of sugars in the blood stream *in the brain* cause some type of
imbalance between the right (including the damaged area in / near / around the
right PICA) and left, in whatever manners of physical-to-mental processing
goes on. The bit of jelly
on half a muffin that I had this morning for breakfast is giving me a bit of a
   headache.)
