From: dicksilk@gmail.com              There were a number of *slightly* macabre dreams. While there was a lack of       emotional (guttural) response felt by the narrative mind of the dreamer, there       was, on the other hand, some visual items that may cause more visceral       reactions in others. I        suppose it's purely a matter of personal taste, but:              The Body at the Office (followed by the Trick-or-Treaters)       The Amoral Idiot? (and the gal who ended him)       The Tarantula (on a web?) (and the bats)       Normal (?) dream: The Password (and what it meant)              So in "The Body at the Office", the dreamer somehow becomes aware of /       discovers a body in an upstairs office. While there's very little (if any)       sense of "guilt" regarding the body, still, the dreamer *is* aware that       regardless of who calls in the        notification, the dreamer will be *likely* be considered as a *likely*       suspect, signs of a fearful conscience rather than a guilty one.              For whatever reason, the dreamer seemingly goes on to some other activity,       with the idea of eventually notifying the police at a later point in time (but       more like simply "later in the day.")              Yet to the dreamer's "trepidation" (tremulous agitation, first time I can       recall ever having felt led to use that word, so I had to look it up to       confirm its usage accuracy) a female (such as either a spouse, girlfriend, or       office mate) went out front to        call in a group of kids who'd been passing along on the sidewalk, who seemed       much like trick-or-treaters.              Either way, the dreamer was upstairs (in a room *other* than where the body       lay) as if looking for a urinal.              This particular sequence is infrequent yet still a common theme within dreams       (well, I'm male, so I can really only speak from my own perspective /       experience, but): sometimes the search is for a well-defined men's room (like       with rows of urinals or        toilets along a wall) but sometimes (as in this dream) the dreamer is looking       for *any* suitable receptacle (such as a drain hole of some sort) that will       suffice as a place in which to "drain a kidney," so to speak. (Again, a       familiar dream concept, yet        occurring maybe only once a year or decade, if that much.)              The dreamer had *just found* something similar to a hole in plastic wrap of       some sort, as if that would suffice as a "make-do" type of location, when the       kids start coming up the stairway, so the dreamer backs up into a kind of       hole, not unlike how a        moray eel slithers back into a crevice, yet without the eel's hungry element.        It seems as if the dreamer's main objective is simply to hide from the kids.        In fact, the dreamer is *between mixed emotions,* that being disturbed       (internally) over *being*        disturbed (externally) just before taking a leak, along with [["How *could*       she have done something like that?"] / ["WHAT was she *thinking?!?"*]] with       respect to the female inviting kids upstairs while there's a body in another       room, along *with* the        genuine joy of providing trick-or-treaters with either a trick or a treat, so       when the first kid comes up, maybe around 4 years old, the dreamer simply uses       both hands to give the kid a full rib-tickler (about 5 quick moments of the       "gitchy-gitchy-goo"        action) as the child laughs and giggles in response, and the kid turns away       (clockwise) and returns to the other kids.              At that particular moment, the dream ended, and I have no idea what this was       all about or how the "upstairs body" got there, or how the situation was       resolved. One can only imagine that the kids left the building in search of       other candy-rich targets.        Clarity 8+/9-, despite all the unresolved elements.              In "The Amoral Idiot? (and the gal who ended him)" there's a scene of 3       people: Female (about 40? slightly heavyset, slightly upstage left) the       amoralist, just left of center) and a guy (seated slightly slightly downstage       right) who gets immediately        shot dead (by the amoralist) who I *think* fired with his left arm       outstretched towards the victim. The shot was nearly immediate, with no rhyme       nor reason given leading up to it. The amoralist simply shot the victim.              The gal seated to the amoralist's right (slightly upstage left) asks the idiot       something nearly as inane, such as "Did you just shoot that guy?" or possibly       "WHY did you just shoot that guy?" (or possibly both. Sometimes, a "feel" of       more than a few        discrete thoughts may come across as *one* thought in a dream.)              The idiot gives some kind of non-defensive reply, such as something *akin to*       [he was a waste of space] (or air, etc.) or [he was offensive just sitting       there.] The point being, the idiot gave *no* defensible reason        justification) for having murdered        another person.              The gal with whom the idiot had been answering took a gun in her right hand,       aimed it at her right ear (as her left ear was towards the idiot, such that he       could not see what was happening on the right side of the gal's head) and       pulled the trigger. The        shot not only went *through* the gal's head, but also then *into* the head of       the idiot to her left.              Believe it or not, there was some type of discussion that took place with the       gal, as if the fact that she'd just blown her own body away was irrelevant to       the moment.              The narrative mind of the dreamer asked something *like* "Why did you just do       that?" and her response was *something* like, "the world is better off without       someone like that," as if taking herself out to accomplish the act was simply       the cost of the        clean-up.              I *think* there was some type of comment from the idiot as well, something       *like*: "You *could* have just warned me...." Clarity 9-. The lighting was       as if dusk, or possibly in a darkened bar or lounge.              The Tarantula (on a web?) (and the bats):       The dreamer was in an area, not unlike the large, open, interior space such as       Wal*Mart, however, all of the floor space was open, whereas the walls may have       been lined with content. The view of where there would normally be a high       ceiling was *dark*        overhead, as well as *not-well-lit* at *all* "on the floor," either.              However, the dreamer was aware of having walked beneath something overhead:        if the reader considers oneself to be the camera perspective of the view,       located due south, facing due north, the dreamer was walking *towards* the       camera perspective, as if        from 15° East of due north, as if heading 15° west of due south.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
