sugar as a "too much" type problem (leading to fat, hyperglycemia, etc.) Just
goes to show ya, every coin has its "flip side." ✔

Just taking a wild guess here— do you have a stronger physical resemblance
to your dad's side of the family?

Ever since it was undeniably proven that the *vast* majority of the ADA
guidelines are designed to *promote* dependency *on* medics and "big pharma"
rather than *free* people *from* them, I just "tossed out" all their
   "recommended" content and just
started eating as much unprocessed food as possible (sliced, grown, or ground
makes for *easy* fixin'!) (And sure, it does allow for an *occasional*
"processed treat"— (like Fritos!— (every half hour or so...)— mixed with
   pecans and {pistachios in
   sea salt & vinegar})) :-)

   > Once a week I eat a couple fried eggs blotting them on a paper towel to get
most of the fat out. I eat ground turkey because it has less fat than chicken.

I used to get the ground turkey. Shopping by (lowest) price per pound, it's
sometimes a toss up between the beef-pork and the turkey. It's a sin what
"Bidenomics" has done to our country: iceberg lettuce used to be 27¢ a head
   (before Clinton?) and
around 87¢ a head (during Trump) but now it's at *nearly* $2 per head since
2021! Eventually, that boil has *got* to *POP!*

   > Maybe once or twice a year I eat a couple slices of bacon on a fast food
   sandwich.

Last night (and the night before) I enjoyed drumsticks wrapped in thick-sliced
bacon— (I do my own cooking.)

We gotta get off of food... I've forgotten what my dreams were from last night
   / this morning!

   > I like to go to buffet type places to eat as you can pick out what your want
to eat. In the summer time I like to eat lots of salads/soup and in the winter
I eat casseroles made with ground turkey. You would be [surprised] how many
   ways you can fix
   ground turkey.

I was *somewhere* in my early 30s when I decided to do my first turkey for
Thanksgiving— bought a Butterball (big 'un!) and the pop-up meat
thermometers, also the gauge-type meters, big roasting pan, tented foil, etc.
When it came out, I was curious as to how it would taste:

   . . . . . *DELICIOUS!!!!*

I was over 30 years old before I learned *why* people ate Turkey on
Thanksgiving! (I'd always had it overdone / dry / nearly tasteless / tough.)
   Go figure...?
