From: dicksilk@gmail.com              First thing discovered this morning: the coffee pot failed to heat the water.        No hot water, no water cycle, no hot plate, just the green light indicating       the power was "ON" (along with the digital clock) but no water perking, no       coffee, *grumpy* morning!              I napped a good hour or so, then went off to Wal*Mart to get a replacement       model. The cheaper one (with no timer unit) was about $7.oo cheaper, but hey,       I need the clock / timer function. AND this one has a "bold" function, which       is something I've been        thinking of for the past year or more: if the water dripped through *slower*       through the basket, it would have longer to seep through the grounds, and thus       get a "stronger" cup of coffee.              Well, bless my buttons! This newer model has a button that does *just that!*        It mentions taking 50% longer to do a whole pot, but hey, if it *cuts down* on       the grounds seeping *over* the filter, it's worth it!!              Meanwhile:              Had a curious dream last night about a puppy, possibly also a kitten, possibly       the same critter perceived in two different manners, possibly in the same       dream. I know, a bit obscure. Good reason to give this a clarity 6.              The nearly disastrous moment was when the dreamer half-stepped upon the       (kitten-like) critter. It was as if the animal had been stunned, but there       was no sense of death or significant damage. Either way, the dreamer made       something of a *quick* sorry/       hope you're OK type mental thought, then continued on.              There was this downright *cherubic* dream, wherein the dreamer was looking at       the face of a baby boy, possibly just past crawler age / into toddler,       *maybe*. The thing is, the child's face was *well featured* rather than       typical baby-bland. He (*fairly*        certain "he" was a "he") was smiling, happy, as if, well, just plain happy :-)              There was also a "sense" of "glory" around the child, *as if* there was light       emanating from an aura around his face. Nothing overt, nothing covert, just       that since only the child's face was visible, the light of the scene had to be       coming from *       somewhere,* right? Even if from the child himself. Clarity 10, *nearly* 10+,       *nearly* 10-, because there were no other details or information, and nothing       else "seen" in the "scene."              But that feeling of happiness / joy was downright *FELT* in the mind of the       dreamer.              Oh joy! Time for coffee!!!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
