Latino / Central American ethnicity, with dark, curly yet thinning hair, maybe
in his late 30s / early
40s, or had a significantly rough life that may have made him look older than
he was.... the name "Guzman" comes to mind, possibly "Gonzales," but the

I used to do this a bit while delivering pizzas back in the day) as it gives
the customer time to say "Keep the change," so that's what I said to the
   Guzman (cook/cashier)
   fellow.

onion" as in "NO onion" yet for some reason, there was a selection of onions
being presented: a whole onion, one about the size of a softball, the other of
   baseball, and as those
were being declined, there came a *slice* of yellow onion, about 5" in
diameter, and about ¼"–⅓" thick. I mean, it actually looked *tempting*
   — and that's from the perspective of a guy who has *generally* disliked /
   declined onions for over 50
   years!!

it in his mouth as the dream
   ended, clarity 9.

reason over the recent Thanksgiving holiday, last Thursday of November, 2023.
I *suspect* it was needed for something to do with a green bean casserole
   recipe, but those use
dried/fried onion pieces for the topping. The point is, I bought one, and
while I only used *half* of it while he was here <<>>
the other half remained in the fridge (and kept rather well in the low
humidity bin!) and I chopped it
up for a crock-pot soup made from the leftover turkey, leftover green beans, a
block of extra sharp cheddar cheese (cut up into pieces) and filled with the 3
left-behind beers. There may have been other stuff tossed in, but the point
   is, I've found that
onions make for *great* digestive aids along the intestinal tract! At any
rate, I think the recent onion addition to the diet may be directly
responsible for at least a *part* of this dream.)

Central American reptiles (or not) is anybody's guess, but this next one was
*vivid* by comparison to the dream before and the dream afterward:

   > The dreamer is, again, at some type of restaurant / diner, *possibly* the
same as the one just mentioned, but it was *definitely* a "different scene"

some various items along a counter top. Imagine the proprietor (or order taker
/ cashier / assistant mgr) stands on *one* side of a counter, perhaps chest
   high, and the customer
   on the {camera/dreamer's perspective's} side.
   >
   > Atop the counter (at near eye level) are *various* items, possibly
ingredients in jars, possibly a napkin holder... just "stuff"— and the
dreamer is seeing this "snout" sort of peeking out from around the items—
here a moment, there a moment,
enough for the dreamer to realize that [there's something alive back there.]

whether or not this may be a pet of some kind, or if it may be a venomous /
dangerous snake (python? constrictor?) or -just *what*- it may end up being.

and the dreamer finally brings the critter to the other guy's attention,
something like: "Is that your pet?" (indicating the general vicinity of the
   critter, as it was again
   hiding from obvious view.)

going on in the dream itself.)

critter has to be approached *from behind* so as to avoid having one's

Monster" although *possibly* "Monitor Lizard" may have been considered.
Sometimes ideas just flow so fast that putting them into precise words is
   *inaccurate,* to say the least.

Go) images of both the Gila monster *and* the monitor lizard, to try to figure
out what I saw in the dream. The Gila monster *generally* has a much darker
   appearance overall, and
even showed some reddish variants. The monitor lizard is much darker/browner
overall, whereas the critter in the dream looked much more like the colors

skin, like the *smooth* skin of a snake, the kind that actually has a "sheen"
or "shine" to it, and the yellowish-white was similar to the color of the
   onion. There *may* have been
a *suggestion* of green to the yellow. All I can say is, I'm "moved to
mention" the color "green" although it was more "sensed" than "observed."
