From: Richard.Silk@Juno.Com              So there were a number of dreams last night, mainly with low clarity / some       evaporation that renders the majority of the content as "evaporated" rather       than       "remembered."              One of which involved a building, as like a barn, in which there was some       attempt to clean out the floor, by raking soil / material / detritus from one       end of a stall towards another, although whatever else was in that dream has       evaporated. Clarity 6-ish, possibly 8- originally.              But near waking (around 7-ish AM) there was an unusual "event" that was simply       memorable as can be:              The dreamer (in this case, myself) saw a scene of all white, all bright, with       the image of my late mother's smiling face as something of a discernible image       in contrast with all the bright white light. It's as if the areas and contours       of her face were *barely* less bright than the surrounding frame (as if the       mind       could only perceive in a flat, two dimensional plane, much like as one views an       upright TV screen.) Clarity 11+!              This was followed by a general time of reflection, wherein the dreamer (that       is,       I, myself) fell back asleep wondering about what had just occurred, and what it       possibly meant. Then, coming back to the waking state, there was a much       fainter       re-visit of the same scene, as if someone had turned down a 100 watt bulb to a       5       watt bulb, which I could only process as perhaps the brighter image being       something coming *to* me, whereas the fainter image was of my *leaving* that       particular moment.              How might this relate to "real life"?              IRL, I've been processing some "thank you" cards for those folk who mailed       sympathy cards after Mom's passing. I've finished 6, and there are 8 left to       go. In some of them, I took the opportunity to insert a hand-written letter,       written on the paper-pad / notebook that Mom had requested about a half a year       or so before she passed.              Also, as the return address (on the back of the envelopes) I *mostly* used       Mom's       return address labels, as they may as well be put to good use rather than       thrown       away.              It *could* be that this interaction with others (who bothered to send sympathy       cards) is the general cause of the white image / dream / astral encounter. It       *could* be that Mom simply wanted to smile at me for "doing the right thing" by       sending out the thank you notes.              Either way, I thought I'd journal this one up, because it's rather unlikely       that       I'll be forgetting it anytime soon, and it was/is certainly different from most       every other dream I've ever had (although it *is similar* to one in particular,       only *that* one was animated (contained "live action") and involved Gina       talking       *to* Mom, who was seated on the couch, listening to her.)              Meanwhile, after breakfast, I took a small "after meal nap" on the couch, and       that's when I had some rather action-drama-packed scenes unfold as dreams:              In one, the dreamer seemed to be evading a particular female who seemed       familiar, yet also like someone from the screen, such as TV or movies. She was       perhaps in her mid-20s to mid-30s, Caucasian (possibly European lineage, seemed       American) and was sort of a "cross between" some of these characters: 1) The       "T-X" character, played by Kristanna Loken       (imdb.com/title/tt0181852/characters/nm0518085) in the Terminator-3 film, "Rise       of the Machines"       and 2) the Bionic Woman, "Jaime Sommers," played by Lindsay Wagner       (imdb.com/title/tt0073965/characters/nm0905993) and 3) a young Elizabeth       Montgomery, as "Samantha Stephens"       (imdb.com/title/tt0057733/characters/nm0000548).              At any rate, the woman seemed imposing, unstoppable, and out to "end" or in       some       way destroy the dreamer.              That is, until the dreamer simply stood firm, and attempted to enter into a       discussion / dialogue with the female character in the dream. There was       something of a mindset of: [I know you have your directive, but I'd like to at       least understand....] and to be honest, I have no clear recollection of how       that       scene ended. (Clarity 9+)              There *was,* however, a follow-up scene, in which a female (similar to the one       just described) was being in some way "dismembered," although rather than being       a biological female of flesh and blood, it was more like taking apart the right       leg of an android (as seen from a distance of about 10'.)              What or who was taking apart her leg was unclear (possibly *unseen!*) although       there were clearly some elements of machinery around what would be a "knee       joint."              There was also a feeling of empathy from the dreamer, as if there was a desire       to help the android somehow reassemble the bottom half of her leg (below the       knee) to the top half. Clarity 8+.              There was also one *very short* clip, a segment wherein the (male) dreamer was       "taking a leak," only instead of the older male with an enlarged prostate issue       (a slow stream) this was of a *strong* stream, much like a young teenager would       have.              This may be a coincidence, but I just found a 4000 mg bottle of pygeum (Prunus       Africanus / Gorilla Cherry) online, and I'm suspecting it may actually have a       tremendously beneficial effect. Time will tell!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
