|    2024/05/31 Friday: Mouse Capture, A.I. D    |

   From: Richard.Silk@Juno.Com

The dreamer and some other individual were going through an area in search of a
critter. Why they were searching for a critter, one may only guess, but there
was the impression that a rodent of some type may have scurried into a human's
domain, therefore needed to be evicted, as it were.

While the other individual continued on (elsewhere, outside the narrative, so
   to
speak) the dreamer stopped in a room *similar in size* to a two-car garage,
although the walls on up were of less concern than the four baseboards & walls
which formed the borders of the floor area.

The reason for stopping in that area was because the dreamer *heard* something
minute that caught the dreamer's attention, as like, "Could that have been a
mouse?" Any sound of motion at all within an otherwise motionless (static)
   room
tends to trigger a person's awareness of Newton's 1st Law of Motion (Inertia)—
that an object at rest remains at rest, unless some other force (critter) acts
upon it. Thus, even the *tiniest* of rustling noise / sound indicates the
possibility of a mouse. (If it weren't for what comes next, one might've
thought the dreamer was a cat.)

As the dreamer contemplated the miniscule rustle, there was another tiny tone
that confirmed the probability that the first was had actually been heard,
rather than imagined, and at this point, the dreamer gets a hose (similar to a
garden hose) and begins spraying water along the baseboards of the walls.

I realize this is likely something would *not* do unless the room were designed
for water to flow *out* of it, however, there was the sense that the dreamer
simply wanted to agitate whatever critter might be hiding so as to focus the
action in on whatever may have been trying to escape the water being sprayed
   like a deluge.

At around the 2nd or 3rd spray, the focus of the dream narrows to a point
wherein the dreamer makes a nearly "blind stab" (grope) and retrieves a mouse
   by
the scruff of its neck, much as how a small mammal carries its young by the
   scruff of a pup's or kit's neck.

There's a moment wherein the dreamer is concerned as to whether the mouse-like
rodent could turn its neck enough to effectively bite the dreamer, and so
there's a span of a moment wherein the dreamer adjusts the grip of the scruff
   so
as to focus the grip directly behind the critter's neck, thus minimizing the
freedom of the critter to turn, bite, claw, attempt to escape.

Barely a moment later, the critter may have begun to relax, sensing that the
dreamer's grip was non-threatening, but more incapacitating than anything, and
the dreamer actually brings the critter to the dreamer's bosom, as the poets
used to say, much as how a human would normally care for a cute kitten or
   puppy,
using the left arm as a type of resting/supporting surface for the critter (yet
not letting go of the neck scruff.)

As the dreamer's mind turns towards releasing the critter *outside* of the
   building's walls, the dream ends.

Now I've got to make one, small note on the face of the mouse, because the eyes
had a slightly green, luminescent glow to them, as if reflecting light in the
same manner as a cat's (which amplifies moonlight, as a type of nature's
   night-vision.)

As to whether this dream was symbolic (clarity 7) which it *very likely could
be,* or an 8+ (as there wasn't much detail of the environment visible) is
undetermined, but I'm leaning towards the 7/symbolic.

In the A.I. Drone Project, the dreamer is in an area *similar* to the campus
grounds of MTSU, around the Judd/Sims parking area on Alumni Drive, where it
bends around the front of Smith Hall, along Old Main Circle (a street route.)

There's a Frisbee®-sized object, but thicker and fuller in shape, much like a
"flying saucer" containing volume, *rather than* as a hollowed-out disc (such
   as
   a Frisbee®.)

There's the idea that, for some reason, the drone (with believe it or not, a
name, similar to either Voyager or Andromeda) had been through some type of
*rigorous* event earlier (like, in the recent or not-too-distant past, relative
to the drone itself) that had caused its programming to reach a point of
sentience, in something of a Nietzschesque consequence ("That which does not
kill us makes us stronger") which resulted in the drone becoming "more than
   just
a machine," but a sentient being.

Well, this gets all sorts of complicated, when some *other* entity/construct
happens by and *captures* the drone right out of the air in which it was
operating, sort of like "big drone captures little drone." Only rather than a
physical capture, like a bigger fish swallowing a smaller fish, it was more
   like
it simply *absorbed* it, more like how a bigger drop of water joins a smaller
drop of water, and they become one big drop.

Some form of discussion occurs, similar to that of a human being pleading a
   case
to a larger entity, on behalf of a smaller entity, for the smaller entity's
restoration. That is, the dreamer was pleading a case on behalf of the smaller
drone to be returned, as was performing vital research of some manner, and its
results were nearly ready for collection, analysis, conclusion, distribution.

For whatever reason, the larger element returns the smaller drone, but in an
   unusual manner:

The dreamer is holding a larger disc, and is positioning it over the ground so
that it "materializes" a smaller disc upon the ground. Mind you, rather than
the effect of "element A dropping element B" beneath it, the effect was *much*
more in the style of the "teleporters" of the Star Trek sci-fi genre.

If you've ever worked at a pizza joint that offers 4 different sizes, XL, L, M,
and S, it was like holding a medium pizza over the ground while allowing a
   Small
(12") diameter pizza to depart from it.

One element of note within all this involves a central, red, luminous focus
point, perhaps a tad larger than an *old-fashioned* (Eisenhower type) silver
dollar. This red, translucent disc was at the center of *either* the hand-held
unit the dreamer was using to retrieve the drone, *or* possibly a point of the
drone itself (Voyager/Andromeda.) The point being, that when the "original"
drone had been recovered, the central hub was *clear* rather than luminous red.
It was as if the drone had been reset to factory new condition, and even its
   Nietzsche-like sentience had been erased.

This was considered "unacceptable" to some degree by the dreamer, who began
advocating a point with the larger entity that the drone's software /
programming also be restored, at least to the point of where it had achieved
