From: Richard.Silk@Juno.Com              The Cassette Rewind: This one was/is a bit difficult to remember, however, it       involved the dreamer finding a video tape, theoretically of a porn film or some       type of material from hard R-to-X rated, and although nothing was shown or       listed to from the tape, the dreamer attempted to put it into a device in order       to rewind the tape. (Perhaps a touch of the compulsive "be kind- rewind" hung       over from years past. I did this with audio cassettes just as a matter of       principle- and still do!)       Clarity 8, mostly from lacking much detail of whatever else the dream involved.       However, it *may* have been a part of this next dream scene:              The Handshake (and Company):              The dreamer *may* have been involved in "cleaning out the home" which was *very       similar* to the setting of where I used to live in a mobile home on Asbury       Lane.              There was a female present, who was apparently attempting to pitch in on the       clean-up effort.              She was also somewhat concerned over something the dreamer had mentioned, about       the unknown whereabouts of "Larry," who happens to have been a real-life friend       of mine since around 1980, although we first met in 1977.              Well, the female seemed actually agitated over not knowing where he was, so the       dreamer gave him a phone call, which *switched* the view to that of a camera's       view of "Larry" out along the rocky-sandy shore of a sparkling lake. This was       the type of very gradual, sloping shoreline where the greener ground gives way       to the pebble & sand coastline of what *could* have actually been a creek, but       had the sense of being a larger body of water (such as a lake or even the       ocean,       if it were set in Florida or the Bermudas, etc.)              He was saying something about how he needed a break, and was just out soaking       up       some fun & sun (at the lake, wherever) then the scene shifted *back* into the       mobile home, where "Larry" showed up in a suit and tie (it was at *least* a       2-piece, possibly a 3-piece, business-like, dark & gray, what some might call a       "power suit.") He was just "catching up" as if continuing the general nature       of       the earlier phone call, and shook hands with the female, then shook hands with       the dreamer.              Well, this is where the dream went from clarity 9- to 9+, possibly even 10:        The       dreamer was using a technique that *I personally* use when shaking hands, that       being the "cupped hand" which prevents the *other* person from crushing the       cupped hand during a hand shake. In fact, the harder someone tries to grip a       cupped hand, the "firmer" that person will perceive the hand-shake. You       literally, physically need to try it to understand just how effective it is.              In the dream, the dreamer took the cupped-hand advantage then used it to       *squeeze* (nearly crush) the hand of "Larry," who began to give a       concerned/alarmed/surprised look at the pressure he was starting to experience.              The dreamer laughed good-naturedly, then began to massage out "Larry's" hand by       placing it between the palms of the dreamer's hands and mashing carefully, so       as       to press back out the bones and muscles of "Larry's" hand. (Similar to the       concept of "clean your tools before putting them back." If you prank someone       that instills any pain, you need to remove that pain and allow health and       healing to flow back into them.)              The Human Dog in the Field:              This dream could have two different meanings at the "waking consciousness"       level, but that *may* simply be a "coincidence"- perhaps not?              The dreamer was observing a guy walking on all fours *like a dog* across the       school field (behind Reeves-Rogers) behind the house on Scottland Drive, yet it       looked like something may have been *under* him, which the dreamer at first       thought was a small donkey or horse, because of the size of the *massive*       "horse       apples" (manure) that fell out the person/creature's rear end, *similar* to how       a horse (or elephant, or any quadruped with a tail) poops as it walks along.              The camera swung *wide* around this critter (keeping a distance) and noticed       that the dog under the (male?) human appeared like that of a "shaggy dog," yet       still it kept dumping manure every few steps. The human shape atop of the       under-dog would stop moving in perfect synchronization with the under-dog, and       they would start moving as one after dumping a load. (Note: a horse can walk       *and* poop, whereas a human or dog typically *stops* to poop, as did the       critter       in the dream.)              The critter was about to dump its third load, when the dream ended, likely       clarity 7 (symbolic.) I have a *fairly* good hunch as to what this was about       (there's a guy online who very convincingly claims to be "Lucifer" although       he's       clearly just possessed, and has a *small* bulldog as a (beloved?) pet.)              Meanwhile, between waking and writing this up, I noticed a truck load of manure       and a heavy-set fellow and a younger, leaner looking guy, shoveling manure /       mulch along the front landscaping at 1102 Scottland (across the street from me)       which is going up for auction next month. That's the "real life" scene that       *may* just be a coincidence to the dream. 1102 is viewed out the "front"       window, whereas the human/dog combo was viewed out the "back side" of 1103.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
