From: Richard.Silk@Juno.Com              Had a *most* unusual "dream experience" (on the 24??, during a couch nap, if I       recall correctly) in which the dreamer (or the dream perspective) was viewing a       dog (who looked like my present dog, Ginger) and another creature, whom the       dreamer at first thought was a butterfly, as it was flitting about above ground       level by perhaps around a foot or two.              The dog was leaping to get the critter, much like how a dog might leap / snap       to       try and catch a pesky fly.              The dreamer (or dream perspective) "zoomed in" (approached, got a closer view)       only it was less like walking, and more like "leading with one's right foot."       (At the time, I'm *fairly certain* this was a couch nap, which cradles my       backside between the bottom cushions and the side, so it's much akin to being       on       one's back, yet comfortably, and this couch is long enough that my left foot is       comfortably tucked within the couch's armrest, while my right foot can be a tad       "loose" (or "free") depending upon position.)              *Normally,* in a flying dream, I'm either "projecting" from my head, or       sometimes my chest (as if on a flying pillow, for example) and even one time,       by       "following my fingers." I'm *fairly certain* this was the *first* time I'd       ever       been "projecting from my foot/toes."              At any rate, the dreamer (or dream perspective) came closer to the dog and       critter, only to notice that what was thought to be a butterfly was now either       a       squirrel or a rabbit. I can only surmise that since those are the two critters       most earnestly chased by Ginger, that may be of some significance as to why I'm       unable to remember precisely which was which and when. I *think* it was first       a       squirrel, yet as the dreamer approached, it became a rabbit, and rather than       take that "capture bite" that a dog can execute on a rabbit, instead, it       *licked* the rabbit's fur, as if they'd grown up together since infancy, and       were like a "blended family."              The dreamer held the rabbit with one hand (the right hand?) and the critter may       have tried to wriggle around to bite the dreamer, but the dreamer calmed the       critter so that it had nothing to fear / became peaceful.              Now what was more interesting than anything else about all this was how the       dreamer "entered" that critter's presence. It was *as if* the dog and the       critter had been *floating above ground level,* and now, having followed the       dreamer's right foot, the dreamer and the critter also seemed to be floating.       The feeling was as if there were no gravity whatsoever. Clarity likely an       "astral body" type experience. For all I know, the dreamer *may* have actually       taken the perspective of the dog! Since coming to the focus of the critter,       the       dog was no longer a direct *visual* (objective) element within the dream.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
