   Yes there are such devices. I've seen them in the past, basically   
   require the caller to press a number to get past the magic box. Since   
   automated call machines can't press the number, they don't get connected!   
      
   "Please press 5 to complete this call..."   
      
   Caller presses 5. And your phone rings.
